Despite all the possible end a sequel is possible I explain and why?

the sucide: Despite the death of Jackie if we bring him to Victor arasaka retrieves him and we see him at the end as Johnny's engram. (we see him even without his in the end arasaka)

nomad: the aldecaldo plays with their contact to find a track to save V

Araska: Why Hanako and her faster offer us a mission when we have 6 months left (a bit like Mr. blue eyes)

Legend: well the famous casino mission and maybe a side job from rogue if it's not legend.

Relic: alt gives back a body with the help of johnny / araska turns us into a mini smasher

I think CP77 is a basis for a much bigger story than you imagine.
And that in this new story V will have to take or not part for a part compared to the new arasaka / militech war which will take place for the control of NC without forgetting the IA which interact in the world of course. All in order to survive or to become free again because the relic left a mark in V.'s head.

OH and i just finish all succes and i have 98% ....

He said that with the DNA is sure that it works, but this doesnt mean that you must have same dna to let it work. Infact as he said, johnny was able to overwrite our person and we dont have same Dna. So why the opposite shouldnt work? We are always the same 2 persons that before were compatible. Why not now?

There's a literal treatment in the cyberpunk lore that rewrites your DNA for a certain amount of eddies. Like, that's lore. Either they're ignoring the old lore or are just waiting to introduce this treatment.

actually it was mentioned during the arasakas ending when you talking to hellman there is an dialogue choice to ask hellman about that very thing. I believe he says it is possible if you have a genetic match. A child, brother, sister, but since V doesnt have either well DOA
He also says that they cannot get you a new body because V's engram will be unique because of johnny silverhand's ingerention in your DNA. For Arasaka this would be no problem to get random man from the street and give V his body, they would cover this up easily. V managed to kill Smasher so he would be pretty useful for them as a merc designed to do the dirty work.

Sequel is not possible, The next cp game will come out in about 8 years at least because the witcher 4 is now in production And cdpr is not capable of having 2 big projects like this in the same time :/ in 8 years people will barely remember how the main story of 2077 turned out so i think that making a direct sequel to it wouldn't make sense. They are going to close everything in the expansions surely, in the worst case we will be left with cliffhangers

They will add something, they cant dump CP like this, is against all logical sense. I think the same. They wont do a sequel (at least for now), i think they will add in the game everything we need to answer our questions, and to have an proper ending. Ofc with dlcs. They said they plan to support the game for at least 2-3 years so the question now is. Will they add the right content, with the post ending storyline, more option, more variety etc. or will they add the wrong content?
Well everyone want the first ofc. Hope they reading the forum tho

Judging from the pathetic length of the main story I promise you they are sitting on DLCs right now. They had to have chopped the main story up you can litteraly tell from the pacing it's been cut up. Way way too short for all the hype it created. They already have the DLCs made I bet because they probably ripped it out the main story.
Pathetic length? My first play through I focused on the Main Mission story lines and it still took me 40+ hours to get through it. My second play through, I tried to complete most of the side quests (still didn't get them all) and was fast forwarding through most dialog options and cut scenes and it still took me 60+ hours.

The game has issues. A Small and unsatisfying number of Romance Options, game breaking bugs, bad stealth, mediocre gunplay mechanics, unbalanced ability system which leads to some Broken AF builds, horrible vehicle and driving physics, repetitive design for the gigs and side missions, too many dialog options having no impact on the game, a really bland crafting system, ect.

But, of all its many issues, I would not place campaign length among them.

Idk I see what he means, I went through on my first playthrough doing the main story and a lot of the side quests even some gigs and it took me about 34 hours to complete. My second playthrough I made sure to do all the side quests, even all the cyberpsychos and tarots definitely all the character side quests along with maxing my street cred and trying to min-max my build/get all the legendary/iconic items that were relevant to me and it took me about 44 hours. Rn after 2 full playthroughs, start of a 3rd one and reverting saves to do all the endings I'm sitting at 100 hours on Steam. If you Bum rush the main story you can easily finish it in 15-16 hours, if you take your time but still go at a normal pace (like me the first time) you will probably finish in around 30-35 hours.

I feel as though they cut out a lot of the story content (main and side story) and gave us too many Police scanner encounters, gigs, and other nonsense like that. I get so many calls from fixers all the time, when honestly I wouldn't even care if they took all of them out of the game tomorrow. It's fun at first, but then you start to realize they're just fetch quests with a little bit of lore attached. If they would've cut all the gigs I get from Regina out, and given me half of that as content/interactions with Panam, or Takemura or whoever this game would've been perfect in my eyes.

the easiest scenario for them is:

-expansion pack after Patch 1 (january) and patch 2 (february)

-during this time Free Dlcs will be released (the original cut content: buy apartments, car tuning, ng+, post-end game, new quest etc.)

-after april they will announce a season pass and maybe with some hint about the "expansions" the big ones.

For me all the ending can merge into a post-story dlc easily, it's the beginning of a new saga they cannot leave V dead or piss her/him away

I copy from previous messages:

The 6 months endings could all lead to the same result:
  1. The space heist. You do a small mission, in exchange, Mr.Blue Eyes tells you where you can find a cure
  2. Nomad. You meet Panams contacts, they tell you where to find a cure.
  3. Arasaka and back to earth. You meet someone else (maybe Mr. Blue Eyes), who tells you where to find a cure.
All 3 branches would be one again.

Things that make no sense:

-they cannot leave the game as it is
-they cannot leave the main character dead
-they cannot leave the story as it is (if they said that they want support the game for three years)
-the "dream on" quest epilogue and Mr. B are clearly placeholder for dlcs
- a dlc where the main character is panam/judy/river or Johnny (I'd like see other memories or braindance from him)

Yes they wouldn't be hard to merge, all the ending states are these:
- V in body, Johnny with Alt (The Sun/The Star)
- V in body, Johnny "gone" (The Devil)
- V in Mikoshi, Johnny "gone" (The Devil)
- Johnny in body, V with Alt (Temperance)
- Suicide (no continuation)

Which for V only leads to two possible states for the main endings:
- V in body
- V in cyberspace

Could very well work as a prologue leading to the same point in a post ending DLC, even for cyberspace V.

I think that we have quite a few romance options available, but the problem is that they are unsatisfying as u said. Basically the main issue with them for me is no interaction after completing missions that are focused around them. I think the most satisfying one from entire game is Judy romance. It's the only one when u get to know basic things about your love interest like 1. hobbies 2. childhood and generally how she grew up. It's pretty dumb that u don't know any hobby of Panam for example. The game never mentions that panam i dunno likes books for example. With Judy Her apartment if filled with many readable files about her. U can find many info about BD's and some notes about accident in laguna bend or that she was placed in juvenile prison(i dunno the exact name, i hope u understand what im saying about) for repairing old firetruck that after her repairments looked better than a brand new one. She managed to did it when she was just 16. U have plenty of interactable things like posters robots, her bushido collection etc. In every each of them johnny have something to say f.e. when u firstly visit her apartment u can interact with some old things next to window where she is sitting. If u interact with it as female V johnny will tell you that she basically have crush on V. Also her last mission is strongly focused on her character (u visit place where she lived as a child. We get to know who introduced her into technical things like bd or robotics. who raised her etc) where panam's last quest is just helping her clan. I think that's why so many people embrace Judy, its not only her aesthetic(but it plays a big role too) but mainly it's the fact that we have many moments where we can learn something about her. With kerry/panam/river we don't know that much.

We won't see season pass here for 99%. We won't have that many big expansions. I guess that 3 maybe 4 is a maximum number of them. But i think that we might get only 2 story expansions like with the witcher. 3 or even 4 are very optimistic and i think that we wont get that much unfortunately.

I am a big fan of the Panam story line and hope that it is involved with the DLC in some way to flush out that relationship. Only problem I had with it (and I am probably the only one being a bit pedantic) is that they NEVER say they love each other. In one of the texts she sends V she just states that she "likes" him. I know it is a small detail but a dialogue option expressing that I feel would have at least made it worth a lot more.

Even though I'm aware it is WAY too early, my thoughts on what I think would be awesome to see in a sequel or DLC (if they want to push it WAY in the future):

V got to live his six months with Panam and the Aldecaldos, and they had a child together. You start as that child some 20 years in the future who is looking to make a name for him/herself and seek to do it in the same city your dad did dealing another major blow to corps in some fashion. This could incorporate Mr. Blue Eyes confirming he is an AI to those who remember the 2077 storyline (in eight years I doubt it). You could also choose another beginning and being the child of V and Judy (in the same line as streetkid, nomad, idk who we'd choose for corpo.)

If this is somehow worked into a DLC you could learn a lot about the fate of your dad V while still keeping the same map of NC and surrounding areas while just changing the cosmetics and character models.

Either way I loved this story and would rank it on impact in the same category of RDR2. Just wish I could have had a slightly more satisfying conclusion.

Cheers!

Regarding a dlc that let us play as V's son, well it seems very unlikely to me an dont even like the idea so much. You are gonna lose alot of things like this (of course you will lose all the previous romance options. I dont think you will be able to romance judy, river and so on, as V's son. And of course you wont be able to romance panam, that is your mother :ROFLMAO: ).

Would make it feel useless the other created characters. I mean, 20 years
after main story, many of the main characters wont even be there i guess. They will need to recreate alot of main characters, and for what?

Nah, i dont think this can be a thing

I have just finished the game and I'm so disappointed with how there is completely no ending where our character lives. I hope CDPR still cares about their players and let us save V by continuing nomads ending in future DLC with Aldecaldos, Panam and Judy by our side. It is pretty obvious anyway that this will sell the most, people are already attached to existing characters and given that V's story was just way too short we all hunger for more.

anyway it's easy to continue after the ending, their scheme is not so complicated:

Endings:

1) A ✓
2) B ✓
3) C π
4) D ∆
5) E X

Outcomes:

✓ V in body
∆ V in Mikoshi
π Johnny V
X V suicide

What ever expansion is being planned I feel is going to be a very big addition to the game. They are likely going to add a whole new attribute set (assuming this isn't added as a small on the side DLC), This means its likely that we will receive around another 20-30 hours worth of gameplay when that's added. With that the max level cap will also have to see an increase. So to me is makes me feel that we wont be getting any attribute additions with some small addon and that a new attribute will be tied into a story DLC expansion. It allows us to build farther into our character and also indirectly confirms that 'V' is here to stay.

I think mid game DLC will consist of new vehicles, weapons, clothes, maybe new cyberware, buyable apartments, new character customization options (the ability to go back and edit your character), vehicle customization, and new perks for existing attribute trees (Body, Reflexes, T.A, Intelligence, and Cool). If you didn't notice the trend, I feel most small (mid game) DLC, will consist of cut content. If both major patches coming in January and February fix most issues with the game, I can see this game having a lot of new content by this upcoming summer.

Jan-Feb: exclusively bug fixing patches
Mid March - May: Free DLC (minor), more patches

I predict it'll be a dozen little DLCs, one big DLC, and one sequel-sized DLC.

Blood and Wine was the size of a full game after all.

I predict that the new area we'll explore will be the top portion of the map that has seemingly nothing now.
