They can be very easily reconciled, it's completely in character for Arasaka to preserve Johnny's engram before performing V's surgery. They're control freaks and don't like to waste resources. They already kept Johnny's engram for 50 years, whether it was to punish him, get more information from his memories if needed, or both. All endings except for suicide can end with both Johnny and V alive in some form.
Dragon Age Origins: Awakening did legit this. If your Warden died you were forced to create a new 'Commander' that wasn't your Warden. If you didn't die you could import them over. Dragon Age Origins also had it where you didn't play as the Warden for small DLCs, like Leliana or the Dark Spawn - all for which you were rewarded something in the main campaign (sword and some other crap) - if they did this, fine. But there's a reason why that DLC didn't sell as much as let's say 'Awakening', compared to their Warden's people didn't want to play as Leliana.
I'd be very pissed if there was DLC and yet again, V is shunted. We had enough of that in the main game. I want to enjoy V without Johnny being in their darn head.
maybe this is going to be unpopular but after watching a specific youtube vid outlining all the things they hacked out of cyberpunk maybe just maybe they focus on fixing bugs and giving us a game they originally planed before trying to win affection with FREE DLC ..
At this point cd red has honestly done themselves near irreparable damage to there reputation ( sadly ) what ever the do from now on is going to be so scrutinized by everyone that it could lead them to the likes of bEAware and mass effect anthem etc...
i firmly believe get the core game right and i mean right then figure dlc paid or free is simply irrelevant at the moment with the game in its current state...
blood and wine was amazing dlc and i do not mind paying for quality and substance...

It's been explained a few times in here how every ending except for the suicide route could all lead to the same place and all set us up for post game DLC which is focused on finding a cure or doing this space casino heist for Mr blue eyes. The voicemails of every ending indicate V is still out there (unless ofc u killed yourself). He is not answering his phone but that really doesn't mean anything, it's just a nice little way to do an epilogue.
If anything as explained earlier in the thread the pieces of information we get in every ending, but especially in the nomad and legend ending set us up to believe that V is on the right track to finding a cure. He keeps referencing the Nomad ending because it's the most obvious example to prove to you that V is in fact not dead yet. The illiad poem at the end, Panam's voicemail and contacts, V's stubbornness, Misty's Tarot readings, what johnny says to you before you seperate.
There are alot of logical ways to make what you think is "impossible". I assume you didnt read any post in this thread before
FACT - in three endings V is dead and in cyberspace. Two of the three she has gone with ALT (mikoshi destroyed so no copies of johnny or V there), one of the three held by Arasaka. 3/6 endings V is dead and gone.
One live ending you go to space and suit starts leaking on a one way mission
One live ending go to Arizona (nomad ending)
one live ending arasaka may let you go to earth
Her tarot cards change per ending. The monk/meditation has no effect.
phone calls implies they havent heard from you
FACT - CDPR have never ever done a exclusive post ending expansion. All past expansions have been incorporated into the main game.
I wouldn't worry about it, I'm pretty confident everybody (CDPR included) knows that would be a horrible idea hahaha. I mean I could be wrong but CDPR has made games with set player characters before, why would they switch it up for the first time and let us create our own character just to make the expansion packs about some random that we've never met before?
Why you keep sayin that Vs death is a fact? You see him die in any of the 6 endings? No, you dont. Or maybe you are playing a different game from ours.

We dont know what CDPR will do, and you neither, so stop talk like if you know whats coming in DLCs. None knows.
The difference is that we are doing logical comments, giving also many proofs and hints that the game gives us (these can be wrong or right, we dont know, but we are using logic, and CDPR wouldnt have any profit ending the Vs story that is a brand new character, only after 20hours of mainstory). You are acting like you know everything, and is not like that
Johnny, Alt - everyone who dies and went to mikoshi say they died and an engram left of them, which is based on them. But they died.
In the THREE endings where V body goes away and only V left is in cyberspace - V is dead. Period - no discussion. No interpretation. A version of V maybe be in mikoshi or cyberspace. Granted.
Two of the three V in cyberspace beyond the Wall. One of the three V is in Arasaka systems. Johnny is in her body.
I don't know what game you played but Johhny quite succinctly said "when I died" quite a few times - when he died and got soulkilled. Alt said she died that day and I am based upon Alt Cunningham.
In two of those three endings Johnny is in V's body. V, who we played, is dead. In the third Arasaka would do something with V's body.
Ooh nice so every hint we get in game is useless. Is placed there for... mmm.. for what?

Ye ofc, that was my last comment, because this discussion leads us nowhere and dont want to argue anyways. I like doing costructive tallks, also if others have different ideas, but dont like when people want to impose their idea, saying everyone is wrong and he is the only right.
Also, last thing you dont think is weird, we cant play after the game ending? Ofc is annoying, but maybe is like this because they want to implement that in the beginning of the post ending dlc.

as for witcher 3 the endings were not all unicorns and rainbows but there was a sense of achievement that geralt had finished and survived there was one that was a bit morbid but in general they were all good ..

Most people here thinks, and also me, that every ending can be merged in 1 or 2 post ending dlc beginnings, depending on what ending we chose.
Can be a concrete thing, i guess
the only ending i can think of that has any real chance of making the story go forward is the space one and choosing to be put into a relic like johnny and then being revived into a new body BUT it pushes you into a this has to be the only ending you can use to continue the story eliminating any choice from the games other endings at all ( even though the illusion of actual choice though out the game is exactly that )
i simply feel cd red will not go down that path or they will be making most of there endings even more pointless than the already feel !!
