Yeah obviously. This is a thread where we speculate on the future. I've never claimed that my theory is the only way forward. We're not going to have a concrete understanding of the future until CDPR themselves reveal something.
But we can make educated guesses based on clues and hints the developers have placed within the game itself.

As expected tbh. I'm not surprised anymore, happens way to often. Though they did wait way to long to say this was BS, no way a community manager didn't see this. It was the number 1 story regarding the game as of lately.
They probably were just gonna let it slide until it started getting so big. Idk why every YouTuber hopped on it so quick when there was no evidence to back it up, so CDPR probably weren't expecting that either haha

I think so, but at the same time I'm not sure because it would be the same fate for Johnny in the reverse situation no? But when you ask Johnny about what it's gonna be like behind the blackwall he talks about it like he's still going to be an independent entity. He says "Assuming I don't lose my mind, at least nobody can ride my ass out there", I'm guessing if he was to be consumed by Alt then he wouldn't have a "mind" anymore, he would just fuse with Alt. Same goes for us, so I don't know why we would be consumed by her and he wouldn't, unless I'm just misunderstanding the whole thing.
I really hope that we will be able to interact with the already existing characters and that they will have an impact on the story with their point of view and their reaction on the ground as well as for the social.
I already imagine a robbery of the casino with the choice of the team and the approach and if the person is not very good at one or more tasks or they are assigned there would be repercussions or unexpected successes

Didn't Kerry say he wanted to play Crystal Palace one day? I'd really love if we could use his concert as a diversion or something and get him involved that way...Other characters could get involved similarly...River hunting for a criminal, Judy doing some extravagant BD in space or something...so much potential, so much radio silence.

Yes Kerry did mention that if you romanced him and did The Sun ending, he might have even said it in the voicemails for other endings too I can't remember. So we could possibly see him up there too!
I understand why CDPR haven't really said much about any fan theories though. It gets people talking about the game and honestly it's fun to come up with fan theories. Also builds up hype long term, we're all very invested in the game if we are sitting here theorizing about what might come next, and if CDPR just came out and said "Yup" or "Nope" it would be the end of the discussion and our hype would die down.
Plus it's a nice little surprise for when the DLC does actually come out/get announced. Sure it's agonizing now, but it's a matter of time before we hear from them.

I like where this is going. He goes into so much depth and detail, at this point idk if I can be convinced we aren't going to Crystal Palace in an expansion and like he said, In order for that expansion to make any sense it would have to be Post-Game. I think a lot of people are gonna be surprised, I think this is really a golden opportunity for CDPR to "fix" the problems people are having with feeling like their choices didn't matter. I think we are going to be seeing the ripple effect for a lot of our major main story choices in this expansion.
Did you side with Arasaka? Did you side with Alt? Did you go with Alt? Are you a legend? Are you with the Aldecaldos? What did you tell Jefferson peralez? Did you kill the Voodoo boys and or netwatch? Etc. Etc.
Soooo many of the things we did during the game could have an effect on what goes down in this heist or in Crystal Palace and NC in general.

99.99 % we will have post-story expansions
it is clear that arasaka/nomad/streetkid ending work as new origins (the arasaka ending way more implicit than others)
I guess they are thinking about how to deliver the things they promised. They haven't consider such big backlash on the game. problems with sony and other lawsuits about game state on ps4/xbox. I guess that they will break the silence in a few days by revealing the 1.07 update with first free dlc's and i hope they will give us full roadmap(planned patches fixes new expansions etc). that silence worries me though. In the first weeks they did some good things like allowing players to refund their games etc. They released official apology and it's weird that we haven't heard anything official since december 23 when the 1.06patch got released.
Patience and hope reinforced by our thoughts, logical arguments, desires should be the main weapon against uncertainty.
I really do think there is like a 99% chance we will get post game expansion(s). The most evidence we have for a DLC leads to Crystal Palace and Mr. Blue Eyes and the only way they could do a Crystal Palace expansion is post-game based on how the cutscene of The Sun ending is.
So I think that guarantees us 1 post-game expansion. Let's say that's the first expansion they release and they are only doing 2 like TW3, The second one is the only opportunity they have to do a mid-game expansion. If they decide to make a mid-game expansion it would really have to connected to the main story in some way in order for it to make sense given V's circumstances. Perhaps it will be a chain of events that leads us to an alternate ending with the main story? Because if it is just some random shit to do with nothing related to the relic it won't make much sense in the context of the game.
I personally think they could do 2 post-game expansions, because if the Crystal Palace DLC comes out first, then obviously some serious shit is gonna go down there. It would definitely lead up to some more very important events happening that will further set up the direction this franchise is going in story wise (Rogue A.I. Wars or something like that, idk lol). If the first expansion isn't Crystal Palace though, it will be the 2nd DLC and the first is gonna be a mid-game DLC and we will get to where we left off in a sequel or something.
Just my guess
in the crystal palace they could put a "research lab" that allows you to survive after six months or that put you in another body (after the arasaka ending choosing to be engram or engrammed by Alt). Everything take into Crystal palace, the aldecaldo are searching a way into it and they can use the stormtech way.
There is too much urgency in mid-game for any content.
In the end, there are 4 mission in act 1 THE ENTIRE GAME IN ACT 2 and 1/2 main missions in act 3? sounds ridicolous
