The same goes with the whole "style is everything". We end up wearing awful clothes just because they have better stats xd.

It's very easy to find new clothes for specific styles and upgrade existing ones, I was able to use the golden streetwear pants from the prologue until level 35.

Adding a post ending DLC that makes the endings converge into a single storyline and continues V's story before adding midgame content would make the most sense to me. My biggest issue with replayability is V's set (more or less) fate and the urgency of the main plot which makes it hard to justify doing side gigs. Act 3 felt like another prologue, there are many ways lore friendly ways to cure V's illness and the premises of all endings are so interesting that it's a shame to leave them up in the air (Crystal Palace, Mr Blue Eyes and the Peralez conspiracy, the nomads and Stormtech, Alt's plans, the price to pay for Arasaka's deal, etc). I also really like V, they went through enough and deserve a break.

Act 1 would be pretty easy to expand with more stories about V and Jackie starting out as mercs and doing odd jobs, with the bonus of lacking the constant threat of imminent death.

That's open to interpretation, especially in The Sun/The Star endings.

Agree, I don’t see any problems to expand at least each ending where V gets his body after Mikoshi. 6 months is not sentence for V, but opportunity to act. I see a great space to expand.
Actually V has at least 2 obvious ways:
Sun/Secret ending - cooperation with Mr Blue Eyes and Night Corp.
Star ending - cooperation with Panam (and Judy for female V) and her AZ contacts (Storm tech, also we can’t claim that Mr Blue Eyes doesn’t play his role in our findings, he can phone us at any moment).

Also possible in The Devil if V comes back to earth. Mikoshi/Cyberspace V is harder, would need another body.

I think Saburo and Hanako could find us a body in the Arasaka ending, I'm not so sure how Alt would go about doing it for the Johnny ending though so I'm still kinda wondering how they're gonna weave that one in, or if they're gonna retcon it entirely.

Hell-man.
Fam-fisted...

But it's pretty fitting overall.

You sell your soul (engram) to the devil (hellman).

I think the simple explanation is that if there is continuation some endings just wouldn't get to move forward. Suicide and V in cyberspace with Alt feel like dead ends.

It's possible that Arasaka keeps V's body connected to Soulkiller (or keep it in stasis) while they are in Mikoshi. MBE breaks through the stations ICE, whisks V out and into their body again, guides them to a pod, and brings them down to earth. I'm framing this in the situation where V is still faced with the fact they might be dead by winter.

I guess the question is why MBE would still be interested in a Mercenary who sold out and amounted to nothing. Wouldn't he be more interested in someone who stormed Arasaka:
  • Solo
  • With the Afterlife Mercenaries
  • With the Nomads
I guess he killed Adam Smasher so that counts for something.

I mean the one thing he got going for him is he pretty much single handedly saved Arasaka from demise in that ending (sure Hanako had the influence to really set things in motion, but V was the reason any of it happened in the first place).

Plus like you said, he fucked up Smasher and Oda hahaha

This is possible... but would not make much sense from a business standpoint. I suspect a huge reason for shipping the game in the state it was in was due to it being in development for so long. Investors and devs had been working on Cyberpunk in full production mode for at least 6 years, and investors likely wanted to see some return on investment (this does not excuse potential bad production practices by CDPR, just speculation). For this reason, I think it's in their best interest to utilize this game for as much content as possible. CDPR also announced Cyberpunk 2077 would have more DLC than The Witcher 3 had, so take that for what it's worth.

I've seen it brought up multiple times that Witcher 4 is next for the studio, and for that reason Cyberpunk will fall on the back burner - this is entirely incorrect. Sure, Witcher 4 may be entering pre-production, but it will not take away resources and focus on the current game - Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah I was going to include that also, they aren't Rockstar with multiple different studios. So I can agree its a close to impossible for them. Is this correct that CDPR only has 18 dedicated developers?

Hell no xd they don't have many studios but they have more than 18 people working there xd They have 2 studios 1. warszawa 2. kraków (names of the cities they are located in) The one in kraków is focusing on standalone multi and gwent(at least for now) and it's a smaller studio . The main studio is located in warszawa(warsaw) and that's where they were making cp2077/ the main witchers. But the problem with cdpr is that they change their workers really often because of crunch.

This, and they have around 1000 employees. They have the talent and team size to get it done.

This is the case for a lot of studios, like Naughty Dog. Crunch is sadly a huge part of game development, and only gets exacerbated by poor leadership or incompetent producers.

That said, developers pour their hearts and souls into projects, and I hope to see Cyberpunk's endings tie together for a new adventure in the upcoming expansions!

You sign a contract with Arasaka, so they will give you a body eventually... and Goro says Hanako intends to fulfill this contract no matter what.
