[SPOILERS] End-Game And Suspicions About The First DLC

+
I try. I really do.

The latest revelations however, make it harder every day.

Nah his statement is a classic "narrative expedient", frustating players with doubts, questions etc. is the core of a modern narrative based on future contents. All the endings are built around this (and the whole game itself, for exemple Peralez quest).
Remember "Lost"?

the "lack of definitive conclusions in them" is a very easy and smart move to open up new content.

Yeah. Don't get ready for additional Mr blue eyes content folks. the mission ended exactly how the designer wanted it to end.

My guess on the first DLC is: a minor gig for a Fixer.

Are we reading the same tweet?

''Worth noting, when people talk about my quests in CP77, they usually like them but also mention the lack of definitive conclusions in them. Probably related. But I also like to frustrate players with ambiguity.

He's not saying that that was his goal, it's just that it might be a byproduct of him creating a mystery narrative (ambiguous) for the sole purpose of intrigue.

Which may or may not be expanded on, sheesh people, chill the flip out for a second and analyze what you're reading before jumping to conclusions.

As for the topic at hand, I'd love for them to tie up lose ends and offer a different approach at the main story line involving Night Corp, rogue AI, Voodoo Boys/Netwatch and Mr. BlueEyes.

There's a point in the Afterlife where Jackie talks about Morgan Blackhand still kicking around somewhere but nobody knows his real fate.

I'm intrigued.

It is still very possible that we get exactly what The Outer Worlds did, where they just start the DLC right before their point of no return. I also think we can comfortably rule out pre story expansions. It wouldn't make sense in regards to a players level/attribute progression and their accumulated inventory. For the purpose of story reasons, mid story expansions cant have any insane things added to it without breaking the very fabric of the story's ending. Meaning mid story expansions will likely consist of characters who were very minor or have little to no effect on the main questline. Also no characters that could've been written out of the story as a result of some player choices (meaning likely no love interest that exists in the base game). Unless reeves already recorded the lines already, Johnny will also have little to no appearances. Can't have anything to do with a Peralez victory, because his win happens during the Point of No Return. I also believe one of the Fixers will play a major role to start off an expansion. I think the most likely candidates to start this off could be Rogue or Dakota. If we are going to see Morgan Black hand or Mr B.E, its gotta be in post story content. I think we will get a roadmap by March or April, so hopefully we get some idea of what's to expect in regards to expansions.

So uuh... Crystal Palace has already been discussed, but do you guys think the Night Corp/Peralez/Sandra Dorsett plot will be a mid or post-game expansion/DLC?

I can 100% agree that the dlc will involve the names you listed up there. I'm not sure if you guys are aware about the board game called cyberpunk red, however, it has been stated to being a prequal to the cyberpunk 2077 video game.

Anyways i did some digging and found alot of details about night corp/sandra dorsett and what it has to do with MBE and ofc the peralez couple....

if you guys recall Johnny says something about rogue AIs at the end of the brainwashing quest. And i found that it is possible that these rogue AIs are possibly the R.A.B.I.Ds ( roving. artificial. bartmoss. interface. drones) these guys are clones of Rache Bartmoss, but they've gone crazy because of the fact that Rache was supposed to be controlling them, but HE DEAD.

I made i vid about it here, let me know what you think :)

I think there may be a possibility we see some information regarding future content of this game if CD Projekt isnt able to prevent whats going on with their Data breach. It's really is crazy that people have to do this kinda stuff. Cyberpunk was a bad launch, but it doesn't justify what's been happening over the past couple days. Really is sad to see.

Yea I think that's true, probably gonna have to be weary of spoilers too, shame it all had to go down like this :/

I was worried we would NOT get our V back in DLC. Seems more likely they will force us to make a new character.

Could be V chip gets put into a new body.

If they don't do my Judy justice I will be very

Or! or or.... a "V" Prequel ?
Somebody must have posted that idea here before me.

I can't see them getting rid of 'V' like that. Its either going to be Mid or Post story expansions with 'V' as your character. I cant see pre story content, new character content (playing someone else like the Johnny flashbacks), or frankly anything that negates the time a player spent on building their skills, attributes and inventory. It would be crazy for them to do. Might as well make a new game. I strongly believe they follow the same formula that Obsidian created with their DLC "Peril On Gorgon" on The Outer Worlds. Its gonna start us as 'V' right before the point of no return we get a phone call to go somewhere and it starts some long quest line. I hope I'm wrong about this and we get post-story content, but I'm going with my gut until something or someone from CDPR says otherwise.

Oh I just noticed another cool little detail that might point further towards post story content in the expansions. During certain main quests and side quests in the game you get little collectables in your apartment (dreamcatcher from misty, scorpion toy from mitch etc.) and in The Sun ending, from what I see in this youtube video by @Pufty some of the collectables transfer over into V's mansion. Example:

MAnsion.PNG

The second pic is the war-room in The Sun ending where V has new weapons stashed and also the laptop where you can see the email from MBE.

There's a few other items that transfered over as well. Which leads me to the question, why do such a thing if we are literally only going to see possibly not even 10 minutes in the Mansion at the end of the game?

Btw @Pufty's full video is here you should check it out!

Even the devil ending could have V doing the Crystal Palace heist. As perhaps the shuttle takes V to the crystal palace (MBE takes control) or before V goes to Mikoshi or after he does, MBE puts V back into his/her body. So the possibility is still open with that.

Hell even suicide ending is possible because as you know V was shot in the head once and Relic chip just brought them back to life. It can do it again and again. I think V died like 2 or 3 times in the story anyways.

Other possibility in the Devil's ending you would come out of Mikoshi in Japan, meet with Hanako and Takemura to talk about your future career with them there, then travel to Crystal Palace on one of their missions that ends up being the same kind of heist

There is a secret way of getting to V's mansion without having to do the Sun ending. It involves some weird jumps and stuff from V's apartment in the megatower.

guy in the video thinks it's for a DLC but it's for an ending.

That's a really good video. Thanks for linking it.

I like his thoughts on the endings.

You know I wonder there are lots of areas that are not really accessible, like the oil fields, that island with the spaceship and stuff (has a bridge to it that is currently closed).

Do you think the DLC will involve those area? It's the island that's right off the Arasaka waterfront. If you try to swim there you'll get turned back.

Well if that's the case i won't be buying it. It's really got to be post game DLC for me. Trying to wedge some new adventure in while the game is essentially telling you to stop wasting time is just completely unworkable imo.
