(Spoilers) Question about the very start of Phantom Liberty

I’ve played dlc twice. Was there any explanation for how and why so mi got separated from myers?

i know so mi gave some lie about getting captured by hansen.
but how and when?

wasnt she on Space Force 1? The same shuttle as myers? It crashed. NUSA robots stepped outside to protect myers. Where the heck di so mi go and how’d that lie make any sense to spymaster myers?

did so mi explain it away by saying she left the shuttle early in an escape module (like star wars C3po and r2-d2? Lol)

is this a case of my old age and declining memory failing me again? Compounded by the fact that its 425am local time and i haven’t slept?

So Mi ejected herself from Space Force 1 soon before the crash in an escape pod. And then, likely simply joined Hansen just after. You can find her pod near the Voodoo Boys building, on its left if I remember (there are a couple of dialogue lines with Johnny around it).

Upon reading your response, I was at first disappointed because its what I feared.
But then I relaxed because I can see a good explanation for the ejection in the escape pod.
Spaceforce 1 has a bunch of features to protect Myers, including that back room. Plus all the robots.
That's why she didn't eject. Also the shuttle is very strong and won't simply explode when it lands, which it did not. I mean come on, why did the shuttle even crash at all? They have flying cars and hovercraft, and ships as big as skyscrapers that just float around.

So why did songbird eject? As a distraction for possible attackers. Make Hansen or any other threats think Myers ejected, when she really did not.
Also songbird is a key asset, but not really an asset in a gun fight (yes she knows how to use a firearm, but she's not Rambo, so let the NUSA robots do that protection). So divide your assets. Don't put all your eggs in 1 place.

Now I will go check out that sodium reddit discussion to see what others thought.
Been a while since I had something interesting to read with my morning coffee.

Ok I am shocked that Lowsodiumcyberpunk only played Phantom Liberty 11 days ago for the first time. I have seen posts from Lowsodium everywhere, like when I first started playing and was trying to figure out the leveling up mechanics and cyberware.

No need to scratch your head, she ejected herself because it was what she planned to do to join Hansen

Her plan was to escape from Myers claws (meaning from an inevitable death) and ideally steal the AI hansen found, reach Mr Blue Eyes on the moon, save herself and finally be free. V was only the plan B, in case something went wrong. And well... between Hansen, Myers, Reed and V everything went wrong.
