Roche's "red stripes" uniform?slimgrin said:what are you talking about?
Exactly. (The one he changes into after he delivers Anais to Radovid, if you don't talk him out of it.) It's not much more than a recolor of his Blue Stripes outfit. It looks like pink pajamas. Not quite so dramatic as "the leopard changing his spots".Seboist said:Roche's "red stripes" uniform?
Interesting. I gave Anais to Natalis so I never saw that cutscene. I'll have to go Youtube itGuyN said:Exactly. Natalis seems to be a good person who would take care of Anais and protect her from anyone that wants to hurt her. On the other hand, Radovid is a scheming bastard who will force Anais to marry him if Ada can't produce any children (after killing Ada first of course). Giving Anais to Radovid is definitely selling out Temeria by ensuring that Radovid will take it over.Seboist said:He isn't selling out Temeria if Ada is Radovid's queen though. He would have more of a legitimate claim to Anais than some baron or military commander.
True, Natalis is a good man, but he's no George Washington. He commands universal respect, but his ability and willingness to rule in a manner that holds Temeria together are at best suspect.WardDragon said:Natalis seems to be a good person who would take care of Anais and protect her from anyone that wants to hurt her. Yeah, I pretty much agree with all of that, especially the last part. In my game Henselt was dead so I figured Kaedwen would be too busy sorting its own problems out to worry about Temeria, especially since Henselt had no heirs. I gambled that Radovid would be distracted by Nilfgaard invading and that would hopefully give Temeria time to get its act together and unite against the common threat. I don't know if things will work out well, and I'm sure things won't go as I expect them to go, but this feels like the right choice to me.GuyN said:True, Natalis is a good man, but he's no George Washington. Under Radovid's protection, Temeria is safe but subject, and Anais is Radovid's pawn. The most likely outcome is Temeria will become a tributary kingdom of Redania, with Anais as puppet queen.
Under Interrex John Natalis, Temeria is free but beset by dissension and powerful neighbors, and Anais is in good hands so long as Natalis can protect her. The possibility of a devastating civil war or of becoming a battleground between Redania and Kaedwen is very real.
But this game is about freedom, and all its implications for better or worse. To side with freedom means accepting that all will not turn out well, but just as surely that there is no other right side to stand on.
I was thinking that Radovoid marrying Anais would have him conquer Temeria but he can't if Adda is alive. I wouldn't want Temeria to be weak since they're right next to Nilfgaard so I choose to give Anais to Radovid.GuyN said:True, Natalis is a good man, but he's no George Washington. I like it. I think it looks better than the blue one.Seboist said:
