I think he meant he would disenchant saskia and triss would free herself (with letho aid I think i never did that.)
or he would save save triss but leave dragon alive.

I plan to make three or four playthroughs of TW1-TW3.
- The first one will be my main, listed below:
TW1 - Abigail saved - Stayed Neutral - Cured Vincent - Triss - Adda lives
TW2 (Dark Mode - hopefully the Dark Armor will be imported as well) Roche's path - Henselt is alive - I save Triss - but not Sile - nor the dragon - I don't kill Letho
- The same TW1 save but on Iorveth's side, with other choices (won't slay the dragon, save Saskia, will kill Sile, Letho)
- A playthrough fully involved with the Scoiatel (the death of Geralt changed him that way, he died to defend nonhumans and will fight against humans and monsters)
- Another playthrough on the "Redanian side": Order, Roche. Through the events of TW1 to TW2, Geralt learned he has to understand the "game" of politics. Radovid is an interesting character and I'm expecting him to play a big role in TW3. Here, I'll play against monsters, Scoiatels and sorceresses.

I have 2 Playthroughs which I'm definitely bringing into TW3.

The first one is my impulse run, in which I make the decisions I deem 'best' in that situation. This leads me into 'regrettable' results but it makes the game really interesting and it gives me a good impression of how the game is.

The second run I'll do is the 'canon' one which CDPROJEKTRED gives. This gives me an impression of the direction the game would like me to take and it gives me a further understanding of the choices Geralt has to make. Most importantly it gives me more time to analyse what my Geralt would do in that situation.

My third run is my head-canon run. This is 'my' Geralt's proper run. The motto of this run is 'Who am I to judge''. To me Geralt has no right to judge and execute others since he has killed thousands of beings in his lifetime. How can he judge Letho for killing Foltest when he killed ~20 Nilfgaardian soldiers to save Triss a few minutes earlier... The choices he made were:

TW1: Choose Triss: Stay Neutral: Spare Adda

TW2:

Spare Aryan,
Give Sword to Iorveth,
Side with Iorveth,
Save Mottle,
Spare Stennis,
Save Triss,
Spare Sile,
Spare Saskia,
Spare Letho.

This may sound overly meticulous but it's just the way RPG's have formed me.

Although my first playthough was interesting it was made when the imports didint work properly and the endgame cinematic weren't implemented. I honestly dont know how to process with TW3. In the first one its a clear case where I sided with the order but in Tw2 I dunno what important, but in the second one its impossible to decide. Its impossible to stay neutral but the choices are so dramatic that I dunno what to choose. I will probably decide in on a savegame after more trailers are revealed. So far my canon is

Tw1 Triss/Order/adda is alive

Tw2 Aryan is alive /Dead loredo/Iorveth/Stennis is alive/Triss in the end/ Letho is alive

I have to confess to: I will look up spoilers for TW3 before playing so I can make a savegame with decisions which will matter.

But now - I chose Triss, saved Sile, spared Arian, killed Letho, killed Cynthia, spared Saskia, chose Iorweth path.

Please, don't do that to yourself. That defeats the entire purpose of the experience that CDPR crafts; if you know the outcomes of all the decisions and choices, you're just going through the motions.

After my first (unspoiled) playthrough of TW3 I'll certainly go on the wiki and look up how certain decisions affect the whole, and have more metagaming playthroughs after that. But the first time has to be - to lift a term from the Game of Thrones fandom - Unsullied.

I'm going with this, which is almost as my first play through, I later decided to spare Stennis and Save Triss instead of Saskia (tough choice there). I also already prepared 2nd save with most of the choices opposite for my 2nd W3 play through.

Side with Scoia'tael
Leave Alvin with Triss
Spare Adda

Aryan Alive
Help Rouche
Chose Ioverth
Loredo Dead
Stennis Alive
All Nilfgard mages dead (Cynthia dead)
Save Triss
Sile Dead
Dragon alive (cursed)
Leatho Dead

A save that would make Shilard proud..

My save:
Save Aryan (Geralt doesn't needlessly spill any more blood than necessary)
Give Iorveth his sword (hey, he helped Geralt by double-crossing a double-crosser. It was the least Geralt could do)
Kill Henselt (Witchers don't like to dabble in politics, at least one of the Kaer Morhen witchers does not)
Expose Kimbolt and Maravel (both traitors and not really picking a side)
Save Triss
Let Sile die
Spare dragon (As the books emphasize, Geralt does not kill dragons)
Kill Letho (Geralt is true to his word and throughout the game Geralt, even though proclaiming himself neutral, does share a certain distaste to all things Nilfgaardian - and Letho was a Nilfgaard stooge. It will be interesting to see his stance on Nilfgaard when he recovers the rest of his memory.)

Exactly what my first savegame looks like except I spared Saskia.
I am not 100% sure about going with Roche instead of Triss. Maybe I'll switch this around before TW3 release, maybe not.
What's your reason for killing the dragon?

Well I had no idea it was Saskia at the time (so my Geralt still has no idea) and figured I'd rather not keep this loose canon alive as it's too dangerous. Actually, I even thought I was putting the dragon out of its misery because I thought there is no way she would survive being impaled on a tree.

Turns out she does ooops.

Ha, makes sense. Any particular reasoning for keeping Sile alive?

Mainly spared her as it'd further the plans of Nilfgaard, then again the Lodge is already disintegrated and the witch hunt is underway so I question my reason to spare her as it doesn't matter anyway. Also the reason why I think about going to save Triss instead of helping Roche. The conclave could be a good asset to the North.

I don't see why I should kill her. My Geralt is not a punitive person and killing her wouldn't make any difference. Plus, he understands her actions and reasons, and sympathizes despite strong reservations.

I personally love Sile and fully sympathize with her and agree to a large extent.

You are such a nice guy! :) A vindictive bastard like myself couldn't even imagine to let her walk after she condemned me and everyone else in Loc Muinne to a fiery death. Also, I was kind of curious what would happen to a person when a teleport malfunctions. The result was totally worth it.

I have some nice saves I am planing to use, I honestly don't know which to use first.
Hmn now when I think about it I am curious if you be able to use your PC saves on the PS4/X1. Put them on a stick an use them... hmn should be possible I just hope CDP thinks about a feature like that :)

Pipe dream. Though why you would want to bring PC saves to the Xbone or the PS4 is beyond me.

It's simple I don't want to upgrade my PC for the Witcher 3 and instead I just buy a PS4. Still I want to use my old saves and let the decisions i made in game mater at least a bit ;)

Playstation loyalists are truly in a bind since their only choice for their platform is to enter the Geralt saga at the final installment. The Witcher has, and will always be, best experienced on a PC.

You're better off hoping that CDPR will add a feature that allows new PS4 players to customize certain past decisions of Geralt. A simple startup screen with question prompts accompanied by art or screencaps would be fine, but it could also be cool to make it part of gameplay similar to how KOTOR 2 did it. Picture:

Nilfgaad Interrogator:
-The uprising in Vizima. Chaotic times. Whose side did you back?
-Vernon Roche. Iorveth. Criminals, both of them. Who did you throw in with?
-The Dragon at Loc Muinne. What happened in those woods after you flew away from the city?

etc.
