Gah, well you can gauge my eyes out if this question has been asked elsewhere, but my gaping spot where a brain should be has a couple questions:First, I am looking forward to the EE download greatly, I got the Witcher a day before the EE was announced, and due to time and other games, I decided to wait until the definitive version, after playing very little of it. My first question is: How do I know my game is registered, in order to be eligible to download the EE content? And secondly, what is the situation of the US version-censorship? Any word on what is different between the editions?

If you have the game owner tag (which you do) you are eligible. As for the censored version, that may be announced at a later stage.

This is good news. I too started playing your original release but when i heard about an enhanced edition i put it to one side. Been waiting almost a year to play a game that is sitting on my shelf... i nearly buckled a few times.... i'm weak ;) Glad i waited now. Just like to say thanks too. Spending a year to improve on something allready deemed a success is commendable, and as a paying customer i would just like to say thankyou.I'll certainly be keeping an eye on CD Pojekt in the future :D

Later stage? Does this mean "officially" announced before the 16th? That it is hush, hush still? The only real reason I pry is that some people are waiting to pre-order the uncensored version based on this verdict. Naturally, it's nice not to have to pay an upcharge to see some boobies and hear some sailor talk if we could just order the U.S. version.

Hi all. My first post on this forum. 8)I haven't played The Witcher yet but I am very interested in the new Enhanced Edition. I will definitely be getting it as soon as it is released here in Australia. My question is in regard to the Australian release date. We were given a date of October 2 recently which seems to be a fairly solid date (it is on several game websites). But if the European release is Sept 19, will we be getting the EE a bit earlier in Australia after all?I am particularly concerned because I have two weeks holidays starting on Sept 26.

Fallout 3 Lead Designer Emil Pagliarulo`s thoughts about The Witcher Enhanced Edition:"It's funny. There are a lot of great PC games still being made, don't get me wrong. Now you're seeing a lot of great Eastern European games that are coming into their own. You look at something like The Witcher, which is a fantastic game. It's going to be made even better with the huge patch they're doing."http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3775/revitalizing_a_heritage_the_.php?page=4

Well if this question has been asked before, shame on me :'(My question is, with all these improvements and tons of new stuff (can't wait...), will there be new, "harder" system requirements? On my first run through the game (and, since I've been waiting for the EE, my only one so far) I was able to play the game on medium graphics quality (well, act V was a bit slow, but not slow enough to convience me to change my settings ;) ). I hope I still will be able to do so with the EE?System: AMD 3000+GF6600GT1024MB DDR-RAM

What I do not understand: If the EE is ready NOW --- why can't the developers put the files online NOW??? So everybody who already has a registered copy can start downloading right away?!?!?! ???

We would upset a very large number of game stores around the world by releasing the content for free online before they get it in stores. Remember, this is PC gaming, so it's already hard enough to get stores to carry the game... and it's a (vastly improved version of a) game that came out a year ago. So yeah, we've had to make a few sacrifices :)

But the people that are eligible to download it already own it and won't be buying it in a store anyway. And it's just a patch, not a full version of the game so I don't see what he big deal is.

According to a german Gaming Magazine, the overall performance even improved a little bit with the Enhanced Edition.

Hm that is too bad that we cannot download the patch by now.... :)But ok they had their reasons and opinions!I stopped playing the witcher after about 10 hours because of the early patch situation and the inventory. Hopefully the changes are well designed :angel:By the way I like this kind of support, where we get this stuff for free, as we already bought the full version a year ago ^^ (which was more expensive than this version now).I am looking forward to restarting the story in the witcher

Sorry for the question but where can I find the "owner" part? I entered my CD-Key two times and cannot find any information about that, that I am a owner. Everytime I log into the extras it says that I have to enter my Serial to download, but it also says that there aren't any content I could download. So please... could you say me if I am a owner too and able to download the Stuff when it's released? Thanks.Ahh well... sorry I found it after I logged on (you cannot see the information before you login?). So sorry for this question, but I have anotherone... where is the place I can download the stuff after release?

Is the download version going to be available on the 16th or 19th? Or maybe sooner?on 19th.I'm in Ireland and have the uncensored European version of the game, will the game still be uncensored after this update?YesAre there still going to be two retail EE versions? One the full version and the other an upgrade version, for those that want all the extra stuff, but don't want to download?Sorry, I remember there being a questionair about this, but can't confirm it anywhere. No, there is going to be only one version.damn that only gives me ten days to scrape together enough cash to replace my cd dvd drive on my computer...or i cant play it *sob**scurries off to sell stuff quick!!*Whoa :) Good luck! :)My question is in regard to the Australian release date. Don't worry :)
