There is a constant static pop while riding the Caliburn. I tried everything to fix this, changing in game audio and controller settings, changing buffer size, removing mods, driver updates, reinstalling, different USB ports, verifying the game and no solution! Who else has this problem?
It could have been caused by an older mod that altered the way vehicles worked not being updated for the new version. Even if removed, the reference data from any mod will remain in the save file, so the issue might still be there.

Depending on your hardware, Windows enhancements can create weirdness in games that have their own, built-in sound systems. For the format quality, if you're not using studio-grade equipment, anything over 16-bit at 48,000 Hz at DVD is not something that your speakers or headphones will be able to produce anyway (or the difference will be negligible.) It can also create sounds that are completely outside the range of your hardware to actually manage, meaning you could get distortion, static, or feedback from certain channels.
