i just played the pickup again and malstroem used their lights to blind me (including nice hand animation)
thought that was cut from the game, got me by surprise

did that happen to you guys?

Yeah, in 5 out of 6 times I played that mission.
Don't know why I didn't get it that one other time.

Yes the same happend to me. Didn't know there was a different version.
Not sure what you mean by "nice hand animation".


I've deactivated the camera and the the little towers at the entry. Tech level above 7.

Alot of things just work as intended or simply dont and its potluck which you get each playthrough

Another example is the "reel" that happens during the VDB quest that shows scenes of Johnny's life while Brigitte trys to pinpoint one of Alt, sometimes that reel plays an other times your just left frozen in place unable to do anything thinking the game crashed but it hasn't.

No idea why the game works as intended one minute then not so much the next tbh but it makes for interesting playthroughs i suppose

Yeh, it seems to trigger randomly, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

saved before entering all foods and cant reproduce the light + animation anymore

i suspect this is intentional, maybe depending on what v is looking at?
jackie still has his voice line, but after the malstroem says "get in the elevator, you fucking sheep"
i dont think its random

I just think they've got a mess of sub-routines running and the degree to which you see jankiness is directly related to your processing power/type. Last gen console being the worst. Also related to how fresh/clean your system is. I image my clean windows installs and then re-image with it every so often. Both consoles and Windows get bunged up more and more over time. iPads as well.

I have a i7-6700 (very solid CPU for gaming) and have had zero crashes and have seen only two 'glitches', both just visual, not game breaking, in my 200+ hours of play.

But yeah, it's much moodier with it on, the scene feels great.
