Steam-1.08...achievements worked again 1.08.1 achievements do not work again

All,

We all know that during 1.07 the achievement system was broken. Then 1.08 came out and Achievements were not retroactive. Disappointing but had saves for some of the achievements. 1.08.1 (the modding support patch) comes out and I am automatically granted achievements ! earned retroactively. Awesome! However now when I complete a quest that has an achievement (collect'em all quest (gwent), Travel with Avallach to convince Ge'el to betray Eredin)...I am not having those achievements pop up on steam. Whats the deal? Did the new patch break the achievement system again? Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, Steam Achievements are broken again after 1.08.1.

Statement from CDPR:

Guys, and gals we're investigating this issue. Please keep your old save files just in case it will be necessary to fulfil the achievement requirements once again to obtain it.

This is well known and CDPR has commented on the issue. I suggest checking the thread already discussing it.

Yes effecting everyone.

Though even in 1.08, select achievements did not work. EG: Munchkin, Kear morhen trained.
