Steam EE version mod issues, PLEASE HELP!

I've been fumbling with this crap for hours now and I cannot seem to get all the mods to work properly. First of all and most important to me is Black edition mod, I cannot get anything in this mod to work on my steam version. I extract the folders, I've tried to put the folders into the steamapps/user/thewitcherenhancededition/thewitcher/data/override but that didn't work, so I took them out and tried taking all the actual files out of the folders and putting them in the override folder, this did nothing as well, I've tried to uninstall my other mods (texturen, scabbard mod) and that still didn't work. The next issue is with texturen mod, maybe the difference just isn't that huge but I took four different comparison shots before and after and none of them looked any different at all. I've installed and uninstalled the mod multiple times, it's in the right place, all the files are in the date/override folder, everything looks like it's in the proper place but I see no visual change whatsoever. Can someone please help me with this, I'm just about at the end of my wits with this crap and I can't stand the vanilla UI so if I can at least get the Black edition to work it would be a dream come true.

Forget about the user part they need to go directly to the install directoryX:/Program Files or(X86)/Steam/Steamapps/TheWitcher EnhancedEdition/Data/Override

Sorry I didn't mean to include the user part, that's from half life modding :xIt's going into Steamapps/common/thewitcherEE/thewitcher/data/override which is where everyone says to put them.I did a complete uninstall of all my mods last night and tried to get dark witcher and the black edition mod to work, neither did. Right now I have Flashmod installed along with the real blood mod, scabbard mod and a minimal hud mod now; all of those are working great. I don't know if Texturen just doesn't make a big difference or if it too just isn't functioning properly so I uninstalled that yesterday and completely whiped my thewitcher folder but it didn't affect anything.

I personally use the inferno edition of the UI mod and i think it looks great kind of like black with orange flames. I`ll post a link just in case http://www.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=27541.0 there`s also screenshotsAbout the only thing texturen mods did for my system was slow it down FPS wise . With texturen installed it was mostly in the low 20s range with dips in the mid teens . Also with texturen you need a pretty powerful card...at least one with 1 GB vram

I tried that mod last night before I went to sleep as well and out of the three UI mods I liked, black, inferno and minimum, minimum was the only one that worked. And yeah from screenshots it seems like texturen makes a big difference but I don't see it in game so whatever. I would still like dark witcher and the UI mods to work though.

It's appreciated, this just doesn't make sense to me that I can't get it to work at all.

Just installed the Black edition and no problems at all . Just to note that the black edition has the Dark witcher included so you shouldn`t need a separate copy of Dark Geralt.I`ve noticed that you stated they go in Steamapps/common/thewitcherEE/thewitcher/data/override .Does that mean you have a witcher folder inside the The Witcher Enhanced Edition that you have to open in order to access all the files .I`ll attach a pic to show how i set my files inside the Override folder

Gosh alright yeah that worked, thank you. I don't know why everywhere else says to put it int that folder. Maybe I've just been misunderstanding instructions. Thanks a bunch man, I'm going to try texturen in that folder as well now.
