they are banned here in India for stupid reasons. But I got them via guy from russia. If you want anything which you can't get, ask the russians lol
How stupid, you can't buy, the page is unavailable for me but yet I can trade it, get as a gift and activate it! Well good enough for me :D

Brahmin would be the reason. Similar to Japan's cut version.

There is room for debate to say the least regarding the sense of taste of calling the atomic launcher "fat man"... in NV there even is a weapon mod for the fat man called "little boy kit".

It's a reference to the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I don't really agree with the naming myself but it's still a good game regardless of that.

Hard to predict since this is the first time such an activity is taking place. My suggestion, if you really want to make some money off of them, is to keep track of their prices and strike when the iron gets hot. What we know, however, is that right now the summer cards are practically worthless because they exist in surplus. Just gotta play the waiting game.

Prices already seem to start climbing for the Summer Sale related cards. The evil masterplan slowly unfolds and soon I shall enjoy free games in exchange for some digital scrap.

Man I bought so many games.....

It is so hard to pass up on such good games for so little. I now own 52 games and 1 utility
program. I bought roughly 18 games and few dlcs for other games I already owned and I doubt I spent more than $150.00 USD man i love being a PC gamer. Just think if this was console prices for games.....even at discounted prices of say average 20 a pop it would have been close to 500.00 with tax for retail copies or about 450.00 for internet no tax purchases.

I bought

Rage and DLC
Bioshock 1 and 2 (already owned infinite)
Bastion
Crysis
Crysis 2 max
Crysis warhead and Crysis Wars(not even sure what it is yet package deal thing woooo)
DarkSiders 1(owned 2)
Dishonored
FarCry Blood Dragon (owned 3)
Legend of Grim Rock
Max Payne 3
Metro Last Light
Natural Selection 2
StarForge Alpha
The Walking Dead
Xcom: Enemy Unknown
Element4l

I am on vacation all next......and I am vegging out for 3 to 4 days of playing some of these new games. Any ideas on what I should make my first couple to try to see if I really like them

Oh well, the Encore Day hasn't ended yet, but might as well start the "Present your Booty!"-phase.

Here it goes:

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Dark Souls - Prepare to Die
Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Risen 2: Dark Waters
Tomb Raider 2013
Trine 2 DLC (already had the base game)
Shogun 2 DLCs + Addon with DLCs (already had the base game and a few select DLCs)
Dawn of War 2: Retribution (already had the rest of the franchise)

I did very well during the sale too. Here is all the (DRM-infested) loot I picked up:

-

:)

I'm done with my first Steam sale and bought these:

Maybe I overdid it a little, but I don't feel any buyer's remorse and I do intend to play all of them sooner or later. :)
(I finished the LoK trilogy a few years ago, I just couldn't resist... :D)

I'm so proud of you for telling us that you dislike Steam less than half a dozen times (and in just as many ways!) in this thread. Remarkable restraint (and destructive creativity).

The reason is very pathetic. Also, just for info, I'm a Brahmin too, but I ain't religious at all and fully relish, meat, drinks and all pleasures life has to offer (whenever I have money that is lol)

People just want to create controversies here. I'm so afraid we are turning into the next china :/

I seem to recall there being some really great franchise/developer bundles last year. I was hoping for the same this year, as well as better Linux promotion. Or maybe its the conservative consumer in me brought on be the GOG sale that just swept by. O well. I suppose all I'm getting this year is the Pangaea Bundle

I picked up:

Tomb Raider 2013
Might and Magic Heroes 6 + 2 mini-expansions + expansion
L.A. Noire
Shogun 2 Total War + DLCs
Just Cause 2
XCOM: Enemy Unknown

I'm pretty happy!

Hmm
About L.A noire...
I loved the game but i was really disappointed from the homicide desk/missions
The last mission from that desk feels sooo lazy,i even stopped playing the game cuz i felt cheated and that all the missions were pointless because of that stupid last mission...
