Give me a heads-up if it does, it's one I'm waiting for, and I still have problems accessing the Steam site so I'm only jumping through the required hoops when there's something I know I want.

Y'all missed the boat. It was $24 on GMG the other day. As a rule, do *not* purchase AAA titles like BI from steam itself, always better for stuff like that to get the steam keys from other sites.

In fact, with code "gooncave" you can get Bioshock Infinite (steam key) from Amazon for $25.50. Go forth and conquer.

Got Chivalry too :) I wonder if Bioshock:Infinite will go lower than 50% off...

I doubt it. It already is a daily deal (or was yesterday, but they have itroduced that slacker day, so the discount is still there) and I don't think there are different discounts for daily/flash/community deals.

Ha, that's one person at least I can turn to for playing when I'm fed up with the random flaming 1337-h4xx0r crowd.

Wow! That's like $1 cheaper than Steam which currently is at $24,99! :p
Except, of course, GMG has worldwide prices and doesn't relabel it as €24 like Steam does, but I think only GoG offers that, right?

I got Chivalry in a previous sale, thinking I'd probably play it a couple of times and put it away again, but it's really a lot more fun than I thought it would be. As for the community, well, it really depends on which server you're on. I'm always on 'Gentlemen's Treehouse', which as the name suggests is usually quite friendly.

Oh, and if you're anything like me, you'll probably get your ass kicked a lot in the beginning. Actually, I still do -.-

Downloading: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address.

Confirmed for the gooncave code on a few other forums.
This is why I buy from Steam. They don't lock the door and tell me my money isn't welcome.
Is GMG fully international? Their website's vague, and wikipedia says limited countries.

Well Steam locked the door in the past when I wanted to buy Dark Souls. It says this game isn't available in my country. Instead I bought with GFWL

Steam locks out if the publisher tells them they must. Amazon locks everyone out.
It may not be Amazon's fault, or maybe it's a nightmare keeping track on what they can and what they can't sell so they went for the easy solution, but the end result is the same. I know it can be bypassed, but I'd rather buy from someone who welcomes my business.

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines is -25% off on Steam right now (€14,99). Get it if you don't have that game already. Or wait with the chance that it might get a bigger discount (perhaps a -75% flash deal, although I doubt it).

BI is going to get much, much cheaper just like Dishonored ($20) and Tomb Raider ($14). I say it's better to wait.

Check this site to not miss the boat on stuff: /r/gamedeals

I don't like the BI deal on GMG, the Call of Juarez Gunsligner ($9) is a much better one.

Our beloved Witcher has arrived as a daily deal for $/€ 4.99 and even the hopes of some came true: It is marked as featuring trading cards.

About Vampire: I wouldn't be so doubtful about a daily or flash deal. Bloodlines has often been offered with 66% or even 75% off in Steam deals, so wait for that to happen or the last day of summer sale to get it.

On a more personal note: Tomb Raider for €12,49... WHY MUST YOU TEMPT ME SO, STEAM?! Will resist for now, can't make promises for the next 48 hours, though.

I did the dumbest thing. Bought Arkham Asylum GOT edition thinking it was Arkham City...the Bat signal must have blinded me

Also got the Dishonored DLC for $6, at least I did that right..

Do you already have Asylum? If not, then you didn't make a mistake, dude, that's a pretty sweet game.

Also, if you bought your game as a gift, you can trade it with someone else.

So what is that thing about Steam trading cards? Does it have any kind of fun or practical value or is it just another pointless feature like achievements?

Pointless feature like achievements, except it has artwork from the game or the concept artists of the game, which is sort-of fun... I guess...

The Witcher 2 has cards! thank you Marcin and the Red team :D
Dam my internet is not working, I'm using my mobile net now. Time to nab those cards and decorate the profile with the witcher! :D

You can always gift it to me. I still haven't played those games.

How do you actually get these cards? I have Bioshock Infinite, Hitman Absolution, Skyrim and which support it played them for a while but didn't get any card. Is it because I bought it long time ago and it wasn't purchased on steam?

Yet another attempt at locking down customers to their shit platform I reckon. Pointless in other words, from the gamer's point of view.
