It pains me to see that TW1 and TW2 are sold dirt cheap (for 2$ / 5$ or €, respectively) while inferior stuff like that other "RPG" which we don't mention here never even stoops below the 20$/€ mark.

Good choice on LA Noire. Something completely different from your average action game - the police work takes some actual thinking and a bit of figuring things out, it is really fun! Too bad investigations are so repetetive, otherwise it would be a fantastic game!

Wow that's cheap. I can recommend Fallout New Vegas. Very solid campaign, characters, narrative and motives. The graphical engine sucks but there wasn't much Obsidian could do about it. I blame Bethesda for that. Still, it's *not* a Bethesda game, even if it looks like one

Bought Tomb Raider by now as well, weak as I am, along with Fallout:NV. That's four games for me, so far - surprisingly many considering the slow start the sale had.
Now if only Transformers: Fall of Cybertron would get a nice discount. Or a huge one, as the base price of €50 is ridiculous compared to the €20 it costs at Amazon. Anything less than 75% off won't do.

For the type of game that it is along with the genre, I think the story and writing are pretty good. Haven't finished yet, but a certain event had some actual impact on me.
I'm thinking of buying Fallout 3 or New Vegas. I've never played any Fallout games (such a shame, I know) and I'd like to jump into one or the other. Which one would you recommend? Currently I'm leaning towards NV since I heard it's (arguably) better than Fo3, also, it seems like a 'more standalone' title.
