OK. Bought Enslaved at 5 bucks (never had the time to finish it on the PS3) which is great and "Valiant Hearts" at $15 (not part of the sales) which is not so great...
I thought Id be getting this...VVV
Instead, I got "The adventures of Tin-Tin during the Great War". I feel like Ubisoft pulled a "Dead Island trailer" on me. :p Totally different tone. The game is not haunting, not too much of the horrors of war is shown, no character development. Story unfolds through a great voice but "on the nose" obvious narrator, instead of through the actual letters of the soldiers, or the memories of the dog, as it is hinted... Still a good game, but boy I feel dissapointed. :p The ending is QUITE good. It's just the first half that is kind of ridiculous at times.

Still I would recommend it for people who are suckers for good art and music in their videogames-that part is great-, which there are a lot of in this forum.
But wait until a drop on the price

PC controls for Enslaved though really suck balls. People who want to play the game with M/K should stay away imo. ;)

The problem being "I personally suck balls" with the typical console controller... :p
Will update on this, though. :)

So...why doesn't Steam have an FPS or shooter category in the filter section? Doesn't that seem a bit weird?

I just picked up Thief at 50% off (the new one), that's another wishlist item cleared. I don't think my last two (Watch Dogs and The Stick of Truth) will go low enough, so that's probably me finished.

Divinity: Dragon Commander is $9.99. Any opinions on it?

I dunno but considering that FPS or TPS would most likely fall in the top 4 or 5 categories minus Free to Play of course .

It's got some cool talky bits, but the gameplay's not very good.

The politics is what mainly has me interested. I'll go ahead and get it, I haven't bought too much anyway.

If you don't like the RTS gameplay you could just auto-solve all conflicts anyway. But it's really cool to use the dragon form in combat and destroy the enemies with your burning breath... :)

Well the awful thing is that a few days before the Steam sale, they gave Thief 4 for a lower price, lower than it is now. I've been lucky enough to pick up it but I found weird that they're offering now with that price.

About Watch Dogs: I was thinking whether buying\not buying, but I've heard horrible things about it.
I've finally give up with The Incredible Adventure of Van Helsing, instead and I've decided that it won't go lower than E 7.36. So I've bought it the same eventually and hope that it will be worthy any cents :D

I've enjoyed DE3 and in terms of RPG, though maybe volsung is right: eventually you can beat the game much better playing stealthy\action, instead than the front attack. Mostly because ammos and weapons are soooooo limited! If you CP genre, it's a must have imo and the story is brilliant :)

So, does anyone know anything about Deadlight? I've seen it on the sale for £1.99. :hmm:

Thief: I wouldn't buy it for more than 10 bucks. From what I've heard and read the game is incredible tedious ("a chore to play"), doesn't give any respect to the series and offers a stupid story.

Watch_Dogs: It's not the greatest game ever but fun nevertheless. I've bought the game for about 30 bucks and I think it was worth that price. Graphics were nice and gameplay was typcial 3rd person open world gameplay with the hacking twist. Story was slightly above average.

I just bought Grim Dawn which is still in early access. Many people claim that it is like Diablo 3 should have been which is always a good thing. Some serious hack'n'slay from time to time is fun. :)

@AL890
Deadlight is a very atmospheric 2d sidescroller. I can recommend it. Good story and atmosphere (with very nice 2D graphics) and gameplay is ok as well. Your first goal is to surive, you run from zombies or fight them with slashing and shooting weapons (but ammo is rare) and you do many little puzzles on the way.

@secondchildren: Van Helsing is pretty fun, if you enjoy/enjoyed the likes of Diablo or Torchlight. Doesn't take itself seriously either which makes for some funny but corny humour.

If you love isometric action RPGs you should risk a look at Grim Dawn as well. ;)

I need to get around to beating it now that Two is out. Don't know if I'm near the end or not but it's lasted a lot longer than I thought.

Tried out the gamepad on it by accident. Surprisingly good, but the menu and UI is ass compared to m+kb.

My friend Soukyan also told that it's amusing and I had nice moment with Diablo. Diablo II especially. But for some reason, I didn't like Torchlight instead.
Isometric view games are kinda relaxing for me, old friends since BG series
