Storage

Hi y'all. Just started playing and found my storage chest in the inn in CH1. My question is, does that storage chest port over to the later chapters, or should I have emptied it before hitting CH2? If it does port over, don't spoil me, I'll find it...just curious if all that stuff (mostly crafting materials) is lost or I can get then back...

This'll help you locate the storage in the different chapters: http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/The_Witcher_2_storage

(read carefully, there might be spoilers...best idea would be to read this only in the case you cannot find the storage in a specific chapter.)

But be careful, I followed Iorveth in Act 2 and when at a certain point the game required of me to cross the myst to Henselt's camp I found the storage I would have used if I followed Roche's path. It was empty although it should have contained various items I stored while in Vergen. I didn't dare to leave in it the two armors I collected in the Henselt camp area cause I was afraid they wouldn't carry over to Vergen, they probably wouldn't.

Yeah, definitely don't use the opposite-path storage. It's said on the Wiki that anything you store will end up in the inventory of the Mysterious Merchant. So, if you really want to store something badly enough that you're willing to buy it back later...

Gave up with the storage stuff and added the zero weight mod. Much easier to deal with if you don't want to micro manage you 'stuff'
