Strange inventory lag with controller

So i'm having an odd bug in where when i'm using a controller, inventory takes ~1sec to show the inventory icons, but if I switch over to mouse, the inventory loads immediately. Added a video to show what I mean.

No mods, Witcher 3 next-gen, Ryzen 7 5700G, AMD RX 6700 XT, 32gig RAM, 1 TB SSD.

Does anyone know why this is happening, or a fix?

Not entirely sure, but because it seems to be consistent, I think it may be by design. (Probably cosmetic, believe it or not. A "fade in" setting that happens to be higher for controller and lower for the mouse.)

Feel free to send a ticket into support about it. It might be for a reason, but it could just as easily have been an oversight.
