Sure, it doesn’t happen without these mods. The memory “leak” is specifically caused by mods with high-resolution textures. But my question is about the strange behavior: the VRAM is 32 GB, yet the game crashes when VRAM usage reaches 21 GB. If this is some kind of bug or a Cyberpunk 2077 feature, I haven’t found any mention of it on the internet.Well, the question is if it's still happening without these mods.
In order to do so, you might have to do a clean installation though, as simply disabling mods is often not enough:

Other than that, you could check if all mods are up to date for the current version of the game...
Just to know, in vanilla, it doesn't happen because it never reach 21GB or it doesn't crash even when reaching 21GB?Sure, it doesn’t happen without these mods.
Exactly. In vanilla it doesn't happen because it never reaches 21 GB. At least in my case. I found some info about some kind of memory leaks in cyberpunk. Like, game crashes or lowers FPS because while gaming it uses more and more VRAM. Maybe this is some old behaviour and nowadays it is already patched - don't know.Just to know, in vanilla, it doesn't happen because it never reach 21GB or it doesn't crash even when reaching 21GB?
Anyway, I could be wrong, but I doubt it's some kind of limitation in the game. I mean if the game never use 21GB there is no need to introduce such a limit and if it could use 21BG or more, it would be even weirder to do it also.
That's a reasonable point. I'll try to monitor whether VRAM usage increases in the game without mods and see what the limits are. Because if something really does happen once VRAM reaches 21 GB, then the cause might not be the mods themselves, but rather the fact that mods just make it hit the 21 GB ceiling faster, since the baseline VRAM usage with mods is higher.Yes, I remember. But I think it's quite different. Because if it was the case, even without mods, you should see your VRAM slowly but inevitably being filled up until also reaching 21GB (or maybe even 32GB if you play long enough^^).
So now, why the game crash when your VRAM is reaching 21GB, it's a good question...
You can ask to the support if you want to ("contact us" button), but since it's an issue introduced by mods, I'm not sure they will be very helpful. But it cost nothing to ask in case I guess
