Try logging into the game with the VPN turned on. Also, if your game does not load with the error "Lost connection to Gwent servers", then this is because there is not enough Internet speed for the initial download of the game. This is a problem of the game and not the Internet, since the game requires at least 270 Kb/s to load normally.
