Stuck on loading screen

When i try to a load save file i get stuck on the loading screen i have looked at other topics about people getting stuck on loading screens they said to delete the save files i have but it didn't work for me i need help please.

You can try saving your game data on pendrive and reinstall game

many savegames? try to leave only 5 or so, backup all the others

If steam version have you tried verifying file integrity ?

I downloaded the GoG version and it seems to be working fine now thanks for trying to help
