Sudden monster level increase after NG+
I'm not entirely sure where the actual bug is so I'm posting it here as a question instead of the tech issues subforum.
I completed Witcher 3 on the standard difficulty (Swords and something) with a level 34 Geralt. Then I decided to start a NG+ and went for the Death March difficulty to see what it was like.
When the the very first fight (vs. the ghouls) came, it was manageable. It took a bit of work to defeat one and Geralt could withstand maybe two or three hits. I made a mistake, though, died and had to reload. And suddenly the monster level went to 77 and each hit meant an instant kill and it took forever to defeat any one of them.
So my question basically comes down to: Was the easier variety of ghouls the bug or is it the level 77 hard ones?
