Suddenly Saves No Longer Appear in Game Menu - MacOS

+
MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1, M4 Pro Mini . I've racked up 680 hours on the Mac version of Cyberpunk and everything's been working fine since Tahoe arrived. Tonight; however, I load up Cyberpunk and none of my saves appear in the game menu. I've verified that my save files exist at the proper location. I only have the option to start a new game. I decided to use the PL start and got past Songbird's call, then saved the game; that save did not stick. Closing and relaunching the game put me right back at only a new game possibility.

Edit - I did verify the game files in Steam and rebooted machine. I do not use Steam's cloud (or cross-platform options), though I did test this out and it loaded my local saves to update the cloud, 100%, but they also did not show up in the game menu. Just attempted the PL start again and tried a manual save; I have no ability to save, which means I cannot play.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,
Not sure if save files are still there :(
Could be a problem with Tahoe and the last little update they released on Mac yesterday.

If you didn't, I suggest to directly contact the support for help ("contact us" button).

My save files are where they should be and appear to be a-ok. In my saves screenshot, there's an autosave and manual save from last night, but last time I could really play was Oct. 12; those two folders I had temporarily deleted to see if there was a corruption issue, then later restored them after testing. Not sure about this update, but Steam's not showing anything due to update and I verified the game files twice last night. I will go to support next.

You could check if after the update the apps (Steam and Cyberpunk) still have the folder access permissions.
Read/write perms are unchanged, from what I can see. That said, Cyberpunk appears to only have access to the external SSD, where it's installed, and nothing else, though when I tried again this morning, it did write to the "steam_autocloud.vdf" file...in the same directory as my saves (which are local and not on the external SSD). I should note that I have Bitdefender installed, but Cyberpunk is on the allowed list and it's never been a problem...I will test this to be sure though.

I'm playing the gog version on mac and the game updated today. But I'm on Sequioa.

I guess you could temporary grant full disk access to the game to check if it's an access issue.

An update - Sent a message off to CDPR's support about all of this; we'll see.

Tested the Steam version one more time today and it still doesn't see any saves. Decided to install the GoG version; it see's my saves and allows me to carry on. Guess something's gone awry with the Steam version. At least I can play now.

Well, at least the update fixed the gog version and I don't have to launch it through galaxy anymore.

And hey, a fellow BG fan, I'm currently replaying BG2 again. :)

Just a follow up. What I've found is that if I launch the game with the skip load screens argument set in the launcher shortcut, I get no saves. If I remove the argument from the shortcut, the saves are there. Tested with both the GoG and Steam versions of the Mac version. No biggie, given the many intermediate launch screens with the argument, except the one "breaching" screen; it wasn't really doing much. So that last tiny update must have changed something that broke that.

Oh good to know ;)
