[Suggestion] Skellige boat travel

I'm at the stage where I'm cleaning up all the ? in Skellige but I'm finding this increasingly cumbersome. First of all the ships aren't fast at all even when pushing the button to speed it up, also eventually the boat will break after a certain amount of Sirens or other flying creatures are done attacking it. Considering most of the ? are far out at sea, often kilometers apart, it becomes rather boring collecting them all and feels like a grind chore. Sure it's optional but I tend to be a completionist, therefore it would still be nice if we could at least use Aard on the sail of our boat to speed it up further or simply have the wind itself play a role in how quickly the boat sails, considering it is windy in the game most of times anyway.

I think they are too fast, I think the slow speed should be slower, and I guess the fast speed could be faster, but I would say make it slower too.

Have you even bothered collecting all the ? out at sea in Skellige? Most of them are actually in the water. Try doing them in sequence and then say you want it even slower. Fact is this is the only part of the game I found to be tedious, boring and rather a grind. The sheer amount of stuff to collect out at sea makes it feel that way, considering there is not much deviation other than smuggler caches. In the previous areas this concept worked, as they were mainly on land where the landscape and terrain changed inculding what you discoved, which kept it interesting. In Skellige it just feels like you are chucked into the middle of the Atlantic in a paddle boat to collect trash from wreckages. Sure it's optional, but considering the playing field the rest of the game is on, there is still room for improvement to make the exploring (?) in Skellige more exciting and enjoyable.

Yeah the water part is boring, I don't think I will bother with all the loot out there in the NG+ game. I did it just for curiosity in my last game after the ending. I think they have way too many smuggler dumps out there.

Would be nice if they had other events at some of these spots. Like a floating dead moster body, or something strange sticking out of the water.

For me it's not the boat travel that bothered me. My problem was with the lack of diversity in what the "?"'s were. I mean I can understand how they can't have a huge variety when 80% of them were over water,I just wish there was more of things other than Smuggler's cache's and hidden treasures. It fits well with the idea of Skellige's history, but a couple more small islands inhabited by bandits or something I thought would be kind of nice ( like Kaer Almhult)

I still did end up exploring them all though haha

They need to make the boat turn left and right slower. Maybe use the walk button to toggle the boat speed slower.
