Hi everyone,
I’m a huge fan of Cyberpunk 2077 and I wanted to share a few ideas that I think could improve the overall experience of the game and potentially Project Orion in the future.
First of all, thank you to the developers for the incredible work on Cyberpunk 2077. I’ve spent hundreds of hours in Night City and completed the story multiple times. I really love this universe, and these suggestions come from a place of passion for the game.
One thing I think could be improved is luxury vehicles, especially the Rayfield models. It would be great if newer versions weren’t only visually different, but also had unique performance differences, like higher top speeds or special driving characteristics to make them feel truly exclusive.
I also feel that the sense of speed at very high velocity could be stronger. When driving fast, the feeling of speed sometimes doesn’t feel as intense as it could be, and improving this would really increase immersion.
For players on high-end systems (PS5/PC), an option to increase crowd density and traffic would make Night City feel even more alive and realistic.
Another idea that could add a lot of replay value would be a job system. After finishing the main story, replaying it can become repetitive. Having the ability to take on different jobs or activities for income could keep the world engaging even after completing the main storyline.
I would also love to see more interactive locations across the city, such as nightclubs, bars, shops, and hotels where you can actually rent rooms, along with more enterable interiors in general.
On the topic of apartments and property, it would be really interesting to be able to resell owned apartments, buy new ones in more prestigious districts, and fully customize interiors.
Finally, a vehicle garage system where you can repair and upgrade cars (performance, handling, braking, etc.) would add another layer of progression and customization.
I understand not everything may be possible, but I wanted to share these ideas as a passionate fan of the Cyberpunk universe. I hope they might be useful for the future of the franchise and Project Orion.
Thanks for reading!
Suggestion for Cyberpunk 2 (Project Orion): Let Players Decide the Fate of Pacifica
Hello,
I’d like to suggest an idea for Pacifica in Cyberpunk 2 (Project Orion).
Pacifica is currently one of the most unique districts in Night City. Behind its abandoned buildings and unfinished projects, you can still see what it was originally meant to become before the real estate project collapsed: a luxurious tourist destination and a symbol of prosperity.
My idea would be to introduce a real estate developer or a group of investors who approach the player with a proposal: help complete Pacifica’s original vision and finally bring the district to life.
The player would then face a meaningful choice:
Accept and Help Rebuild Pacifica
This decision would unlock a series of quests focused on transforming the district over time:
As the project progresses, players would witness visible changes in real time: renovated roads, modern lighting, new storefronts, restored buildings, public spaces, and the arrival of new citizens.
By the end of the project, Pacifica could become one of the most modern and luxurious districts in Night City, featuring high-end shops, restaurants, hotels, purchasable apartments, tourist attractions, entertainment venues, and a booming economy.
Refuse to Help
If the player decides not to participate, Pacifica would remain exactly as it is: abandoned, dangerous, and controlled by gangs. The district would keep its current identity, becoming a reminder of what could have been.
This system would allow player choices to have a major and visible impact on Night City itself. Watching an entire district transform because of your actions would create a powerful sense of influence and make the world feel more alive than ever.
Imagine seeing Pacifica finally completed as it was always intended to be. Wouldn’t that provide a glimpse of one of the most remarkable transformations ever seen in Night City?
A modern, luxurious, vibrant, and prosperous district, rising from abandonment to become one of the city’s greatest success stories.
In the end, one question would remain:
Will you give Pacifica a new future, or leave it trapped in its past?
After all, the fate of this magnificent future city of luxury would rest entirely in your hands.
Thank you for taking the time to read this suggestion.
