its not about it, its wider than that. It means that the company is not fully decided on what they want for this game. The nudity is just an inch, but you can clear see that many cut content was made from an old demo. Thats time wasting and money wasting.
true...and technically the same thing would apply here to in-game nudity, if it wasn't there in the version they had rated. Obviously CDPR had reason to be concerned that full nudity in game might alter the rating of the game. Otherwise, it would be in the game, yes?It wasnt a mod it was a feature ingame that you could actually hijack it and re-enable it with a dll
Not sure how much actual "promotion" there was on CDPR's side. Did they claim that there will be full nudity during the game and made a big deal out of it? If I remember correctly the whole thing blew up with the previews of the game, when previewers described the options for gender-mixing and stuff.
Sure, naturally everybody kind of assumed that if you can select a dick size in the editor, it will be visible in game. Otherwise, what's the point, right?
So, I guess what CDPR is guilty of, is not clearing that up...kind of a "dick-move" (pun intended) sure but technically there was no false advertising as far as I can tell.

But most of the time its just people wanting to see their own cocks outside the inventory screens. That's what I noticed and also asked if it's going to be the aforementioned.

For me (and many others probably) it's more about the principle of censorship. Let's be honest...the fact that there is an "uproar" about cocks (or genitalia) in general is the whole reason there is censorship in the first place. If there was no "uproar" we wouldn't be here discussing any of this. We'd just be enjoying the game and bitching about floating NPCs.
BD: Pr0n shards for sale in Jig-Jig store. They do not work because they were cut out of final release, but apparently you could buy those shard put them in Braindance headset and experience the fun. You can still see the remnants of CP2077 vision
The problem is not only the lack of nudity of the main character, the rest of the world has been severely censored (so the mod only superficially touches on the problem). Of course, something remains-but only a small part of what was. it seems to me that all the posts in this topic are reduced to" return what was "(and this was in the game before the release of patches), or "explain why it was removed", because the advertising of the game and the words directly from the head of the studio, for a second, promised something completely different.

I think some kind of bug must be happening unless it was their intent to limit the amount of nudity in the game world as well. There are npc's walking around with the same black underwear on that the player character now has and it doesn't look right at all. The waistband of it sticking out over the sides of booty shorts and things like that.
There is only so many things we can complain about at one time.
All of those issues are also being addressed, just in different threads. This just happens to be the thread for THIS complaint.
The main reason this one is causing such an uproar is because while it would be nice to have all those other things, adding such controversial content to a AAA title was a big step that many people supported and cheered CDPR for. The fact that they are backing down on it now just makes everyone who supported them feel like they were misled and cheated. I was sure this was a bug, but seeing that smug 'Oh, no. This is not a bug. It's supposed to be that way.' post made my blood boil because it was a direct slap in the face to all the people that really wanted this game to be something special.
I agree from the standpoint of it being "allegedly" a mature game for grown-ups. It is what it is and CPD have created a fantastic universe of make-believe and escapism. Silly shit like rules about undergarments is just bunk. CDP have build a Ferrari but insist on putting Ford rims on it with this.

This is undoubtedly important, even more important than nudity. BUT, there is one big "but": the function of nudity was already in the game, players who previously received their disks managed to see it. But when the game was released, it was largely cut out of the game world without explanation. all these things, like, hairdressers, customizing cars, and so on... were incomplete, cut out of the game due to pressure from the storna of investors and players to get the game out faster. I have no doubt that a lot of missing features will appear in the game with patches and DLC. but again - nudity in the game was, in full. it was not an unfinished function. They only made it so when it was released.
I agree that this mature content is maybe weird to someone (like why someone tries to solve it), but the problem is...it IS already in the game, it was just patched. It's not like there was a subway/metro and with patch it disappeared. As many of us say, you can glitch yourself naked, and genitals have physics, like they react to gravity so it WAS cuatomized this way originally.

In such a universe, there should have been a lot of entertainment available. If CDPR made it so that in the photo mode all children of the NPC are deleted, if there are mods that already add nudity, then why not the game developers help us? If you look down at your feet, the character has underpants. If you remove the panties using the editor, then the penis will still be missing. But it can be seen in inventory mode, in photo mode, in the mirror. Why don't the developers want to help us? Add penis to character in FPP mode. Please <3 After all, this is an adult game in which everyone should have their own desires.
This can be done optionally, as in Conan Exiles. Or just, please-please, give us a steps for add penis or create new model of this for FPP (for modders).

If a thing was supposed to be in game then it must be in game. If every kind of content is removed for censorship reason is a shame. Are we in 2020 ? I know ESRB and censorship range still are approved by proibitive mainstream platforms but we are on PC that is an open platform.

But all it really shows it that CDPR *wanted* to have this in the game, but in the end couldn't, for whatever reason.
As one guy said: For 18+ game about sexualized dystopian future Cyberpunk provides very few options to be sexy. Maybe modders create a lot of sexy clothing, if CDPR give to modders a good features.
