No, nudity was specifically removed in a patch. People who played before the patch saw nudity, then noted that it was removed the next day.
I'm sure it has to do with ESRB or platforms demanding censorship. Either way, CDPR censored.
Bottom Line: Nudity ain't coming back.
This enough is reason for a refund. I am as strong an advocate against censorship as you can get.
I didn't really care for nudity, doesn't mean all people feel that way. People thought they'd get some real adult content, then why blame them? Makes sense to me.
They should have just said from the very get-go that it was a joke or not even include it at all.

I understand this is "not a bug, but a feature" however, at least for PC users, this is immersion breaking.Hey everyone!
I see this thread has grown quite a lot, so I'm here to dispel any doubts - lack of nudity (outside of the inventory) is not a bug, this works as intended. If you undress V, they will always have underwear in FPP and photo mode and any other cases outside of the inventory menu.
No need to submit it as a bug to our support

However, I request that this be normal, because it makes no sense. Is the reasoning behind this because of Sony/Microsoft? If so, the PC has no such attachment on steam, EPIC, or GOG Galaxy or elsewhere, ergo the need to have it is not needed.

Got it. Just Never update the game lol. Seems I'll have to get this game on PC if I ever want to enjoy the nudity.. mods n such. It just feels like I was lied to, and I hate it. I love the game don't get me wrong it's just that, that lil bit alone rubs me the wrong way.. Pun unintended.

I completely agree. I do not intend to return my game. CDPR is one of my favorite gaming companies, and my trust has certainly taken a hit from this game. It may seem like a minor detail, but with multiple nude scenes, genital customization, and not to mention a BUG where where your genitals clip through clothes anyways, it seems offensive to fans to glue some underwear onto their character for decency, which many consider a bug due to the emphasis put on that aspect, and then slapping your fans in the face. I really hope this game succeeds, but if they think their fans can't handle one aspect of an already present factor in their game, then it sends a negative message about their opinion of fans to me. Sexuality is heavily emphasized in this game. There's an actual brothel you can visit, and you can sleep with multiple characters. It's simply an uncomfortable feeling to think that of all the things that this game struggled with, this one was an intended feature, despite a separate set of settings SPECIFICALLY involving censorship. So why bother at all? All I ask is that you trust your genuine fans with a little respect and give them a full game, trolls or no trolls; hate or no hate; censorship or no censorship. I sincerely hope CDPR sees this and agrees.

I have heard that it fixes the penis poking through clothes but I have seen no confirmation.Does anyone confirm or know what this mean? Did CDPR just go full censorship? I don't want to say stuff I want to say right now without facts because if this is what I think it is, I will NOT be happy.

I want to assume they are fixing the bug where V will remain naked, even when trousers are on. No idea why they are trying to be cute with the patch notes. The game is a mess... If you start a new character and have either a penis or big boobs or both, when you first open inventory in apartment they will be clipping through the clothing until you remove and re-equip the clothing. I know they have ninja censored a lot of the game on us but this one I do believe is a bug fix for that specific bug.Does anyone confirm or know what this mean? Did CDPR just go full censorship? I dont usually post on game forums and never thought I'd actually be posting here. Unfortunately recent decisions by CDPR have brought me here.
I'm not entirely sure why nudity was censored. Unfortunately, I also don't care about the reason. It was heavily implied (and even was in the game) that nudity would be a feature within the entirety of the game.
This is a game intended for adults 18+ that explores a gritty, dark, sexualized world. A world that weaves adult themes into many items, quests, buildings, texts and pictures.
Unfortunately I have 2 friends about to try getting a refund because of the deception after I convinced them to buy the game. The problems go beyond nudity but it was the final nail in the coffin for them as it showed a lack of authenticity by CDPR.
That combined with the other issues leaves me most likely seeking a refund as well. Id love to come back, but only when CDPR delivers the experience we were all expecting to get because of their marketing. I absolutely hate that CDPR is starting to feel like some other companies at the moment.

I hope that is the case. I don't think its a good time for the patch notes writers not explain what each bullet line is. We need transparency if we want to heal reputations.
Transparency works for both parties in this case.
Specially right now when alot of us are upset about the forced censorship decision.
It really bums me out to see no response or acknowledgement of 31 pages of heartfelt messages to the devs. I do not and will not refund my game, but I'm starting to lose hope. I'm hearing their recent promises on "gaining back our trust" echo completely empty.

Seriously cannot get over this. I'm sure the bugs and issues will be fixed, which is why I'm not posting on those. This was implemented sneakily.
