I do not share your thinking here, I guess.. If I was a developer, community manager, etc I would love a forum brimming with posts, quality ones and some of minor quality, because it shows people show interest.

New input is fine. But we don't really encourage starting multiple threads in order to highlight your own favourite issue. Otherwise it would turn into a contest of who starts the most threads, and it would make it harder for the developers to see HOW MUCH interest there was on a topic unless they scrolled through pages and pages of it.
The developers read the forums, so I'm sure they're already aware of the fact that some people would like this changed.

Ay, and they do get quite a lot of suggestions, requests, and demands. It is important to maintain order, and acknowledge that not everything can receive the same priority. We must keep things in perspective, after all.

Personally, I would very much like to see the older style potions in the game; however, I don't let my personal preferences obscure the fact that the developers put a great deal of time and effort into their work, and have an abundance of unsolicited input, and criticism, from which to choose; and, any design changes remain at their sole discretion. I respect their creative decisions, whether they please me or not, and always bear in mind that it is their game, after all, and not my own. I never presume that they owe me anything, or should do as I say. If their designs happen to appeal to me, then I consider it a happy coincidence. However, I think it unrealistic, and rather rude, to expect them to yield to a relatively small group of voices, when it comes to changing content.
