talk to roche gamebreaker?

I am doing main ques "Brothers in Arms: Novigrad" - I've talked to Triss, Dijikstra, Zoltan and now on "talk to roche". I go find him ok, talk to him but he says he doesn't want to help in the fight. That's fine, but I exit the conversation and it still says "talk to roche". There aren't any options to persuade him to help me I can find so I appear to be completely stuck. Not sure if this is bug or not but talking to roche just leads me back to "talk to roche" ?

Its a game breaking bug, lots of posts about it on here....you are stuck there. Might as well do all the side missions and clear off the map while you wait for a patch.

Thanks for the reply. So yes, I will spend my time levelling up and doing side-missions until they fix it. Though some lower level side missions seem hardly worth it. I keep getting a "massive" 2 XP for some jobs lol

Make sure you are never 5 levels ahead of any quest that you are completing, if you are, that may be why you are getting no experience for it...you might have passed the ingame threshold for quests....no more than 5 levels ahead!

what a bullshit, for a game that has a level cap so high (70, I presume)...

CDPR, you should earn EXP no matter what level you are...

Sometimes I've only come upon the quest that day, perhaps because I'm visiting a new area or just plain not noticed it before. I agree with Hiei-YYH really. You should get some "reasonable" XP however many levels ahead you are. You feel a bit insulted doing a side mission for an hour to get 2 XP points.
