"Tavern talking sound"

Could someone tell me where I can find this "talking sound" which is in every Tavern in the original game.

have you unbiffed all the data files (in a separate folder from the game AND djinni!!!!) ? If so, you should have an ogg folder with all the sounds, just play them and see which one you need.If you have not unbiffed the files, check this --> http://djinni.wikia.com/wiki/Extracting_the_original_files

I played them all, but there was just one talking sound and that contained a noise of an animal that you can not find in taverns.

Hmm. I found another talking sound. amb_cityppl is not exactly the right sound. I think it can be used for this "tavern talking", but I do not get it loud enough to hear it during amb_sw_karczma_1.

In the properties you can set this, when you place such an voice file it has the loudness '127', set the one you won't hear so loud at 100 or 50 or whatoever you need it. You can also make an own and save it to the module, by changing the sounds that should be played. There is a section in the properties where stands "sounds added" or something like this, you can change this.I will look for the exactly things when I run D'jinni later in the evening.

It was already set 127. And it is not loud enough for amb_sw_karczma_1. I think I will just use amb_sw_karczma_4, that also suites a tavern and do not drown the talking.

Those amb_sw_karczma_1 and such is music, you can change this in the area properties by "music delay" , try to set this to 3 or 5.

What I mean is this: That ambient music can be set in the properties, the 'music delay' is the loudness as far as I have tried out this. So when this is set to 1 or maybe 2 you can hear it only low (or soft), so when you set the sound template to 127 it should be much louder than the music.

Does "delay" not mean "Verzögerung" in German? Why should they call the "volume" "delay"?

Hm, yes, thats right. Sorry, was my fault. Must have been something other that I have changed, or simply an lower sound, I don't know. Excuse this little bug. :-[
