Just a small chime in for my two danish øre's worth.

I've been playing games on all platforms (mostly PC) for about 30 years now. I just wanted to let you alll know, that I've NEVER been this excited for a game. Ever.... Partly because of the whole Witcher theme, and mostly because CD Projekt Red is making it. The one studio with the knowhow, skill and audacity to challenge the industry in terms of quality and standard. Thank you for never disappointing!

Just imagine those first moments when you finally play, moving Geralt fluidly in Kaer Morhen's tutorial. Marvelous. Makes me giddy.

Seriously, though, CDProjekt Red is the gold standard in the industry. I loved the Witcher 1 and when I heard we'd be getting the EE for free... I knew I was in the presence of greatness! Nothing has happened that would make me change that opinion. Even though you've never done DLC before, if you want to do an expansion for the game after it's been out for awhile... I'll pay for it. You've more than earned it!

Now that I'm an adult, CD Projekt Red makes exactly the kind of game I want: gritty, realistic, containing deep dialogue/story and morally grey areas, full of choice, immersive gameplay, and covering themes most other developers only half-ass or avoid all-together (sex/nudity, realistic violence, no-win scenarios or at least hard choices).

I hope they never lose this magic recipe for making games!

CDPR is like pre-EA BioWare. They're the best developer currently. Not only does CDPR have to skill to pull off incredible games, they have the artistic integrity to do it properly without selling out, unlike most other devs these days. CDPR makes games because they're gamers and they love it. Activision makes games to get rich. That's my take on it.

Yeah nothing to be ashamed for. I'm 30 and i'm acting like a 13 year old fangirl over CDPR and The Witcher...not to mention cyberpunk and I'm not ashamed to be caught in this hype. I'm just laughing at myself for this. First time in my life to be a fangirl for something and I'm glad its CDPR

The hype for me was super high when they announced it at E3 2013. It has only ramped-up ever since then and we are almost there... Like another poster already mentioned, those first few moments will be indeed glorious.

I haven't been this excited for a game since Shenmue way back on the Dreamcast. This has been the most disappointing year in gaming that I can remember, it's left me feeling a bit jaded with gaming and struggling to get excited about most games. The Witcher 3 seems to be the only game that's somehow keeping my giddy excitement levels high. Even if The Witcher 2 hadn't been so excellent, TW3 still looks amazing in its own right.
