Thank you for these dialogues and many other things, CDProjektRED. [slight SPOILER]
This might seem like a quite unpopular opinion to some but I honestly got quite angry when several gaming websites (including Kotaku, Polygon and obviously FeministFrequency + others) started bitching about Witcher's female characters, that they were "too sexualised", that they were "showing too much skin" or that it was "portraying women as fun objects for men with no personality" which is obviously huge BS.
In parts they used the exact same arguments that Vernon Roche did which makes Ves's answer fit PERFECTLY.
(These are just a few of many examples.)
The other thing I wanted to thank you is for making the prostitutes in the brothels feel like actual people with personality and that one of them gave us this dialogue.
I mean, how often has Anita Sarkeesian and Co. badmouthed and hated on sex workers and women who dress too revealingly in games and insulted many many of real life women with that?
This feels like a fist in the face to every radical feminist who talks crap like that. Or rather like glue that prevents them from saying anything bad about them.
CDProjekt makes sex and nudity feel what it is: natural and human, and there are sooo many other things in there that are just great.
I think The Witcher 3 is the most progressive game ever made when it comes to things like that.
And with "progessive" I mean what actually IS progressive, not the Social Justics kind of progressive.
You probably don't care much about that but for me as a sex worker myself this is really important and this made me super happy. <3
Everyone knows that this game is simply fantastic but I wanted to thank you for especially this because it was not mentioned often before.
You should check out this article by Erik Kain, I think he completely nailed it.
