Thank You - I'm having a blast : )

I just wanted to write a quick thank you to CDProjekt for making such excellent games and for being a great company. I bought the Witcher when it first came out and fell in love with it. I loved how they modified the engine for the first game and made it look so awesome. I played through it twice when I first received it and enjoyed it with the Enhanced Edition so much more so for the Witcher 2 I just waited for the EE to come out and now I've started playing it. The combat was a bit rough at first, that tutorial kicked my butt bad but I kept with it and finally got the hang of it. I still die alot but it's fun. I've missed these type of rpg's where you have to "save alot" lol. I'm enjoying the story so far, I'm only in the first major town after the siege at the first. There's so much going on. I don't have a clue what I should buy for crafting and what I should/shouldn't save. Just finished a Troll quest that was pretty neat.

Anyway, thanks for everything. I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time. Thanks for being such a great company and showing time and time again that you value your customers. The Extended Edition being free for both games is awesome. The way you guys and gals replaced all of the Witcher head statues that were messed up on shipping for free was nice and the free digital backup from gog.com is just icing on the cake. I can't really think of any other company that goes so far out of their way to make such a great game and to give their customers a 100% each time. All of this stuff just shows how much you all love your jobs and that you're all huge fans of the Witcher books. Thank you for everything.

glad you enjoy it too.

as far as crafting, id suggest to be on the look out for armor plans.(usually for sale or quest rewards)

theyll definitely help keep you alive, especially if theyre slotted for enhancements.

once your armor is decent, then focus on upgrading your offense.

also, buying plans for various traps will help you save orens in the long run.

crafting itself takes time but the benefits are well worth it imo.

also, i would advise being careful doing certain quests "out of order" that will lead to you not being able to complete other quests.

i know that sounds ridiculously vague, but i dont want to spoil anything. youll see what i mean.

make sure you have plenty of save slots, incase you need to reload. ;)

Thanks for the info on crafting. And I know what you mean about the quests. I had to go back and redo the whole troll thing because I had already finished a different quest first.

Honestly I'm just going to play through the first time and just enjoy it. I'm one of those horrible completionists who like to find and do every single thing and I did that with the original Witcher using a guide. I also ruined the story for myself by reading things I wish I hadn't. So this time around I'm just going to jump right in. And since the story can go so many different ways and will be different the second time then I'm going to use a good guide to find and see everything on my second playthrough. I'm probably going to miss a whole lot the fist time but I don't want to accidently read any spoilers this time. I've been waiting way too long to play this to do that Thanks for all the tips.
