My problem with the loot system is that it's utterly pointless. You get the witcher diagrams (easily btw) and you never need to touch any other equipment. That's a bit dull to me.

There's a Loan Shark in Novigrad that buys just about everything and his crowns refresh every time you go back to the main dialogue menu. His prices aren't the best, but if you need to unload a crap tonne of gear, he's your man! This is the only merchant in the game that does this that I know of.

Alternatively, if you want to sell at the best rates, go to your fav merchant and meditate for 4-5 days (think the latter) and their crowns should refresh as well.

Why are the quest reward levels so borked?

I shouldn't be doing a recommended quest lvl 26 quest at lvl 19 and getting a lvl 13 sword drop from the contract beast.
I mean, shouldn't the reward even be somewhat close to the recommended level? And this is throughout the game and subsequently the "only" real issue I have with it. (besides the fact it made me want to go out and buy a 980gtx, lol)

It almost seems broken though.

agree, quests rewards are very bad, for exemple i did the hattori quest (lvl 24) at lvl 8 because i was thinking this quest must give an overpowered weapon and what ? a crappy weapon lvl 8. and its the same for all quests.

May I ask what exactly you needed a level 24 weapon for when you were level 8?

It kind of seems like at some point they went and made a pass to adjust the missions recommended levels and Mob levels to fit into the over-all flow of the game and forgot to update the rewards and loot-tables

It must be something silly like that because I simply don't want to believe CDPR is either trolling us or doesn't understand that getting crappy under-leveled rewards isn't actually, well, rewarding
