That's great to see the game is thriving and hopefully it continues to do so. It's unfortunate they won't entertain the opportunity of even a small expansion that adds more gigs or side quests that further flesh out the world or it's systems, but I don't blame them for wanting to move on, especially when the game still suffers a bit of "who's on first".
Considering the cost to fix the game and develop the expansion, 3 mil is not a lot. It's not even the typical ratio an expansion nets, but we're barely through week 2 and I'm sure it will have done well once all is said and done. My greatest hope is that CDPR, at least where it counts, continues to walk in humility as they have been more recently. This attitude can go a long way, and it's particularly impactful when it's done genuinely and internalized.
You guys should be proud... mostly, of the game that you eventually produced (broken gigs, non-working perks, and unplayable branches aside).
I know it feels like I'm slapping them in the face while shaking their hand, but I'm not going to pretend everything is A - Okay at present. It's a damn great game when it works though and I'll enjoy it well enough until the next iteration.
