That damn tattoo

I'm still at school, so I haven't gotten to play the game yet. But I read on Kotaku that the tattoo you get in The Witcher 2 is transfered over to TW3 if you import your save... Is there a way to get rid of it in The Witcher 3? I don't want that damn tattoo, and I didn't remove it in TW2 because I'm stupid.

Don't import the save file I guess. I got rid of it in TW2 after the quest. You can select your choices from the in-game dialog instead. I can't see any other method tbh.

OK, Sorry, I burst into laughter - couldn't help it. I must be channelling Triss.

But on a serious matter, then yes, maybe go for the "Don't Import". Alternatively, post your major decisions and somebody may be able to give you an appropriate savegame (I have a good stock, all guaranteed tattoo-free)

Different strokes, I guess. I squealed like a... something that squeals when I imported my save and saw the tattoo there.

Tattoo must be. Can you import it in console version trough the dialogue thing?

I don't think so.

Welp, I think I'll live with it. When you make a choice, you gotta face the consequences... And I don't want to miss any other potential easter eggs just to get rid of the slightly annoying tattoo. Maybe someone can mod it out further down the line?

But, if someone finds a way to get rid of it within TW3, let me know. Still got 5 hours left until I can get home and finally play the game. Any information on the subject is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys :D

No problem with the Tattoo, it's awesome and shows that you were stupid in TW2, I'll live with that :D

i was thrilled when I saw that I have a tattoo, completely forgot about it, only problem is that I had it ina begginig dream/flashback, it was past and it happened before Geralt had tattoo, so I guess that is a little mistake. or maybe it isnt, since it is a dream, who knows :D
