The first six waves are the toughest ones, especially the Elf and the Wizard fight, I died so many times on those lol... Then it's basically an easy ride until the Drowners fight, I unfortunately underestimated the Gnomes before the Drowners fight, and they managed to kill my Majician (which is funny, she's gone done rather easily, even though the gnomes didn't seem to be that much of a tough enemies at all). Then those big drowners just jump at me and take away most of my life with that jump-attack and poison me to be sure that I'm dead xDDD Can't just run away from them, unlike the Nakers, they're jumps will actually reach you if you're just running away ):

you do need skill in battle however because of the lack of character advancement and lack of gear. therefore, early on, signs are definitely the way to go, imo.

Which merc do you guys take? I always hire Molnar as soon as I have the money, the Sorceress doesn't seem to last as long. The knight is the best damage sponge.
Which difficulty is the most preferable for the Arena mode? I play on Dark, but as it seems the Dark Mode is pretty inconsistent, you make one mistake and you die for it in many situations, it seems it's better to play on lower difficulty no? Or do you high-score people achieve those scores on Dark Mode?
In theory, I like the idea that it's like an oldschool videogame from the 80s where you just had to start over from the beginning if you ran out of lives, and letting you keep playing but not giving you any more points is a good compromise.
