Yeah, it does, but it's more a matter of poor execution (bad animations, poor collision detection, etc) than of terrible concept.
In fact, in principle the idea of having an actual free form combat is better than a bunch of incredibly easy and repetitive QTEs.
Of course, something more on par with -for instance- an Arkham game would be far better than this glitch-y mess.

You could defend the fist fighting in TW2 with the same line. “It’s more a matter of poor execution” :p

In any case, I doubt anyone here would disagree that the action camera used there made it look way more badass than anything that could have been achieved utilizing the regular combat camera.

I know, but id like the poll to more specifically show if people want dice poker back just because its harmless or because they liked it.

Not a big deal by any means, but if people vote yes, i like to know at least the main reason.
