The E3 gameplay demo. What do you think needs to be worked on? What did you like?

+
Please remember that this demo shows a very tiny fragment of the whole game. There are plenty of other gameplay mechanisms that we haven't showed here. And yes, we are still tweaking a lot so feel free to leave your feedback here. We are reading all of it:)

Thanks, that's all I needed to know

Crossbow shooting few times without reloading, I hope @Kinley is fine...

Crossbow - what the shit is this? You saw it in Dark Souls 2 and thought its a good idea? Pistol would be much better for witcher.
Too much using of signes and very fast recovery of stamina. Just spams Aard and kills stunned enemies. You should work on more complicated and interesting sword fights instead of signs which blast in 360. Or will you release the kombat rebalance mod again?
Enemies are passive, attack witcher by turns.

It will be adjusted:)

Regardless of my opinion on the footage, kudos for the past few weeks and the bits and pieces that you could share with us.
If there is one thing that I am curious about then it is the weather in the game.
You probably can not answer this, but how dynamic is it? (a big fan of realistic weather and all that in open worlds).

That's not the same Łukasz then:)

I am a bit confused right now. But if he was Counter Strike pro - he must be!

Pistols- WATWATWAT?
And the difficulty was lowered for the presentation - so it might not be as easy on harder ones.

My piece of cake. So crossbow...white bolts look bad and crossbow doesn´t shoot three shots. That is just bad. Instead add some "power" upgrades(could come with small particles around projectile) and add "realistic" reloading animation and cooldown. Camera in fight needs to be closer and I would sugest to put Geralt little more on one side. It is basic rule of photographing and you can see your target better plus Geralt can stand closer to camera since he won´t be in main field of wiev. Particles could also be way better and animations smoother. On the other hand game looks beautiful and that dialog was great along with npc models. I liked the atmosphere and man I would love to ge there and just explore everything in that location.

PS: I hope you really change that camera or put there camera options like in TW1. That would be awesome.

I agree with your take on the crossbow. Let it have a cool down, and be a weapon we have to use sparingly. And maybe instead of having three bolt at once fly out, upgrade the speed and power of the bolt so they have greater knock back effects/damage.

Why? It's the perfect battle camera, you see everything around you.

Damn it man. It takes away control from you. If you ever played Batman series there it works like that but it is Batman beating guys. Not the player. I want to be the one who uses sword. Not Geralt.

EDIT: I don´t like to compare but take Dark Souls. That is some sword fight.

Yes and the first thing I do when playing the Batman games is increase the FOV because I don't have blinders on both sides of my eyes.

more options would be great!

look at this trailer and see how an intimate angle adds power to the strike.

maybe when you're alone with one opponent the camera would zoom. If someone tries to sneak up on you it would zoom out.

Otherwise agreed, but rather than a conventional cooldown where it's just few seconds wait during which you can fight freely, have it as an actual reload animation that Geralt must perform on order to use it (if the animation needs to be interrupted by a parry or an attack or what have you, the reload needs to be reperformed later).
