You just said it looks great. So why does the hardware to demo it matter?

Why just great when you can have amazing? They should have changed to the pc right after Microsoft presentation.

Thanks, I'll watch it now.
_______

"If you pick a quest, another might perish?"
- Is that a joke?

I mean sure I knew if I made decisions there would be consequences, but hell you can't punish me for picking the quest up. I hope I just misunderstood that and it means that there could be quests which become unavailable if you finish another quest.

Because punishing me for picking up a quest by letting another be failed would be very cruel, especially if I am not definitely warned that it will happen. There has to be some logic behind it, seriously, something like "In quest A you kill person X, but person X would have given you Quest B, so Quest B is out of the picture"

Love the sheer size of the city, amazing.

Also, what's up with the symbol just beneath the daytime? It says "Noonwraith". Is that a symbol for the quest we are currently tracking or what is that?

Okay, seems that is a main story mission, Geralt seems to be looking for Ciri. Cool.

Yeah well, liked it, loved the size of Novigrad. I also hope we can interact a lot in the city. It looks very lively, nothing else to criticize or remark.

Well, after seeing the two gameplay demos i'm a bit dissapointed. First of all: Graphics. I know its the Xbox One version, or hugely expect that, and if is the case i know is perhaps the weakest version of the three but is this the best can do a next-gen console? a medium graphics of PC version of The Witcher 2? a game of 2011. Really? I'll play the game in PC, of course, but anyway, its not as espectacular as the gameplay trailers and the screens revealed earlier.

1. The demo is probably an earlier build (alpha)
2. They have to create a HUGE, SEAMLESS world. Think about what the Witcher 2 had. It was 35 times smaller.
3. Next Gen is new and people yet have to master it, so it is only natural that no dev is able to get 100% out of it
4. PC WILL look better.

Yeah, Micro$$$$ indeed, that explains all the thing. I hope some PC gameplay leaked footage in the near future to calm me down, since im really unpleased with the things i've seen...

Actually, PC is also..... kind of.... Microsoft.... (unless you have Mac / Linux)
I think it's pretty simple:

1. PC is probably not perfectly optimized yet and we know that a lot of PC gamers would be outraged to see incomplete and lacking PC footage
2. This is mainly a console conference, always was.
3. They showed the first part of the presentation on the Microsoft Xbox conference, it makes sense

They have a marketing deal with Microsoft. What this most likely means is that they can only show the Xbone version during some of these events.
We're bound to get some uncompressed PC footage of it after E3 if we ask the lovely lovely people at CD Projekt RED nicely :)
Right @Marcin Momot?

Made an account just to give feedback here. :)
CDprojekt has done almost too good of a job with the graphics, I'm simultaneously ultra-excited and terrified I won't be able to run it. The world is gorgeous and the enemy designs are phenomenal.

My biggest concern was the combat though, which is really a tough call to make. On the one hand, I feel like the difficult nature of the fights requires a precise, methodical combat system like what you'd find in Dark Souls, where every command leads to a single, predictable animation. On the other hand, the Arkham-style combat seen in the demos definitely fits Geralt better lore-wise, but it also looks exactly like TW2, which always felt a bit unpredictable in tough fights. I could never anticipate how Geralt would move with each command, which led to some frustration.

I still feel like this game is miles ahead of everything else shown at E3, but the difference between almost-perfect and perfect still exists! haha

Nope, sorry, but it's the same link as posted above. Geralt in Novigrad. Can you post the correct link with swamp-gameplay? Much appreciated!

I can never get into the Batman games. Everyone praises it for the combat, yet they blast AC games when it's basically the same thing, counter counter counter, over and over and over.

Looks fine, they have like 8 months for still working, so i am not worried about the game itself, i mean, they has work for like 4 o 5 years on the game, 8 months is a lot of time for "polish" ... in resumen, the "next gen console" looks like a shitty version of the game, i will have to buy a new pc for THE game

CDPR try changine the time of day in-game to somewhere with more interesting lighting every time you do these demos.

The Microsoft conference lighting looked less interesting because it was 12pm in there.

4pm or 8am is has good lighting.

I thought the lighting during the Novigrad & Griffin sequences was superb.

It was daytime that actually felt like daytime. Didn't just feel like there was a massive fluorescent light sitting above the game world (Aka - Watch Dogs), it really felt natural.

All the lighting (That we saw) was easily on par with Rockstar's IMO & Rockstar has always had some of the best in the industry.

Everything looks great, my hype only increasing beyond any limits :hatsoff:
But some animations clearly seems not finished yet: horse-to-horse collision in IGN gameplay trailer, for example. And guard didn't react on this encounter at all. I'm sure it will be tweaked :)

Detective Vision is just atrocious. And, so is "Recommended Potions for this Monster".

It'd be more fun if we had to use our own eyes to spot such tracks,
and our own ears to locate the monsters.

My suggestion is that they simply add a "purist mode" which disables all of these handholding mechanics.
No "detective vision", "recommended potions" and preferably no minimap aswell, only physical maps you buy at a merchant.
It's way more immersive if you don't have an uplink to a GPS satellite and need to use landmarks to navigate~

But I feel changing the game so that it works without the senses system is too major of a change to implement until the game's release.
