The Epic Witcher 2 Countdown Competition @ GOG.com

Greetings everyone! As you are all probably well aware, The Witcher 2 is going to enter preload next week over at GOG.com. For this reason, I launched a creativity competition on the GOG.com forums a couple of days ago, where participants can win the GOG edition of the Witcher 2 in the final week before the game is released. There are also two other award categories which can grant you other games on that service. I feel rather silly it took me this long to mention the competition to you; the fans who can't wait for the game, and obviously should be first in line to win it. Well, better late than never. From here on in, the competition will run in parallel between GOG and here on the official Witcher forums. I know that cross-posting is usually frowned upon for a good reason, but I'm doing this to support CDP and the launch of The Witcher 2, so I feel excused. Hopefully, you'll agree. ;)You can read the details and rules on how to participate over in this thread here: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/the_epic_witcher_2_countdown_competition/page1 I would prefer that those who enter the competition could do so by using the new private messaging system over at GOG; it would be easier for me to track the entries from one place, and you will anyway need a GOG account to redeem your game, if you should win. You can read about it here: http://www.gog.com/en/news/gog_pm_system_faqThank you all for your attention, and good luck to all who enter!Edit:Just a quick reminder that the competition closes the coming Tuesday (May 10th), so make sure you have entered before then, if you are interested.

Hello again!I wanted to thank everyone who joined the competition yesterday; we set a new record, not only for the amount of participants, but also for the amazing level of quality of the contributions. There are some incredibly skilled people, both here and on the GOG forums. We might even have our first White Wolf Award Candidate, but I still need to discuss it with my friends (who will help me judge the competition) before I make an official announcement about that. Also don't forget that the competition is still open and ready for more participants. If there are no questions, I will post again on Monday to keep you folks up to date on how things are going and remind any last-minute participants. And again, thank you all for your attention, and for the amazing contributions so far!

I would like to remind anyone who has yet to join the giveaway that the competition will close on 10:00 GMT tomorrow, in roughly 20 Hours from the time this is posted. I will allow a grace period of up to 45 minutes for late arrivals, but all entries should be done by 10:45 GMT. I do not guarantee further entries will be registered after that time.I will return tomorrow with a link to the winners thread, where new winners will be announced each day, leading up the launch of The Witcher 2 next Monday on GOG.com. Thanks again for the continued flow of great and amazing entries into the competition! You people are amazing! All of you!

Sorry that I'm late with this, but the competition has now closed, and I have started the Winners Thread over at GOG. Have a look:http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/the_witcher_2_countdown_competition_winners_threadNew winners will be announced each day, at least one for every category, some days will also have multiple winners for all categories, especially in the weekend. Also, The Witcher 2 starts preloading any time now, so you will probably want to keep an eye on GOG's front page.Once again, thank you all, and good luck to all participants! :)
