The Final Trial Quest, Missing NPC

Witcher Lambert is no where to be found and I presume has fallen through the floor making impossible to continue. The quest tracker range icon has Lambert being underneath Kaer Morhem. I talked to Lambert when I initially got the Final Trial quest but said that I wasn't ready and went upstairs to meet with Yen. I did her quests and the Forktail quest and now Lambert is no where to be found. I have no other saves and am already 30+ hours in, please help!

Final Trial quest bug can't continue game.

I am playing witcher 3 on ps4 and i am about 35-40 hours in and when i try to do the quest final trial it tells me to find lambert but he is not there. I spoke to him prior and he asked if i wanted to start the quest i said i would come back later. I return to the exact same spot and it says he is below but there is no way to get below so i think he has fallen through the map. I really want to continue playing witcher 3 but i cant till this is fixed. I have tried fast traveling, loading a older save, meditating but nothing seems to work. Please help i have seen other users report this bug to but i didnt see anyone post it here so please help us.

Bug (?) The Final Trial

Hi,

First I'm not sure if this is a bug. My marker to find Lambert to go to the Circle of Elements during the quest "The Final Trial" in Kaer Morhen points to the main hall of the fortress, but undergroud as the arrow points to under Kaer Morhen's hall . I've searched every corner of the place to find an entrance to go under there, but it looks like there are none. It's like he has sunken in the floor or something. Did I miss something or do I have to load an earlier save ?

Bump and confirmed bug, I have just caught Lambert red handed sinking through the floor, that bastard is doing all he can to be a prick ...

If you tell him to wait before doing his quest at Kaer Morhen, he will sink through the floor progressively. It's annoying at best when it starts, as you can look on the floor and talk to him, but after two or three travels to Kaer Morhen he's lost under the fortress with no way to talk to him. As this breaks the main quest I'd think that it is a major bug, hope you'll be able to fix it soon !

Exact same issue here, I really hope they fix it soon (mostly i hope they are even able to fix it) because I made the mistake of not having all my manual saves be separate so now the most recent save I have prior to talking to Lambert is hours upon hours of gameplay back.

Quest: the final trial

I went to lambert and he asked me to help. I said I'd come back to him, I wanted to finish yennifers quest. When I came back to look for lambert he was gone. It showed a marker for where he was before, but had a tiny red arrow pointing down. Does this mean he's in the basement? I've gone crazy looking for him but I can't find him. In order to continue the story I have to do his quest. Please somebody help. Thank you

There is also a bug that won't let you progress once you get to the boat.

BUG "The Final Trial " Problem / Ostatnia próba problem

HI ! I`m at mission " The final trial " where i have to find Lambert in the hall of Kaer Morhen , but the problem is that he is not there .... The marker shows me that he is under floor and i dont know what to do !!! Can anyone help with this ? / Cześć ! Jestem podczas robienia misji "Ostatnia Próba " , gdzie musze znaleźć Lamberta,tylko że problem jest taki ,że go tam nie ma ... Znacznik pokazuje że jest on pod podłogą i nie wiem co robić!!! Quest 'The Final Trial': Disappearing Lambert bug

Hi!

A lot of people have this issue when trying to complete the 'Final Trial' quest in Kaer Morhen. I don'tknow if PC users have this problem i have the PS4 version of the game.

If you talk to Lambert and tell him that you will come back later to go to the Circle of Elements he simply disappears and when you want to come back and do the quest you simply can't.

Is their anyway of solving this issue? This quest is part of the main quest so this is a major bug that keeps me from moving forward in the game.

Try to advance a bit and look at the floor next to that weird tank. Walk around a bit, maybe you'll see a prompt to talk to Lambert appear. If it doesn't, it means he sunk too far, and the only way to continue the quest is to load an earlier save where you didn't speak to him yet, or the earliest save you have after you spoke to him.

All my previous saves are after I talked to Lamber and I tried walking around and looking for the prompt, but nothing Wish I had made more saves now I'm stuck.
