I love all of you, and don't feel much like a stranger. Except when I piss one of the mods off. Then I feel bad. I think we all get along pretty well for the most part, though.
In other news, @Sardukhar @kofeiiniturpa @Suhiira, I'm downloading that Pathfinder: Kingmaker game right now. DRM-free on GOG (go, CDPR!)
Any of you going to carve out some time to play it? So far, aside from issues with crashing and such, the game has been well-received, and it looks like the devs are on top of that.
I will post back every now and then with screenshots/my impressions of the game.

Sheesh. Lots of options. 14 classes, seems like everything from the PnP was covered. As well as some advanced subclasses. Seems characters can go up to level 20.
Also, there were a bunch of race options - Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Halfling, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, and Aasimar.
I always played a Dwarf Fighter in D&D, so that's what I'm rocking here.
EDIT 2:
You get 25 ability points to spread across the six standard attributes. Also, 2 skill points, and 11 skills, covers stuff like Mobility, Stealth, Knowledge (Arcana and World), Lore (Nature and Religion), Perception, Persuasion, Athletics, etc.
Went with a pretty solid split - I want my character to become better at persuasion over time, so I started with 18 Str, 10 Dex, 16 Con, 10 Int, 12 Wis, and 11 Cha. Also put a point into Athletics and Persuasion.
You can even choose your alignment! Neato.

Totally unrelated to anything. I was watching "You've Got Mail" with my wife tonight. I don't think I've ever truly appreciated how prolific Tom Hanks' acting career has been. I'm mean Splash, Dragnet, Big, Turner and Hooch, A League of their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Toy Story 1-3, Saving Private Ryan, You've Got Mail, The Green Mile, Cast Away, Road to Perdition, Catch Me if you Can, The Polar Express, The DaVinci Code, Charlie Wilson's War, Cloud Atlas, Captain Phillips, Bridge of Spies, Sully, The Post. That's a ridiculous collection of decent to great movies.

Also, @Sardukhar Copper Dreams Alpha is on the way. I contacted them to do a first impressions piece for my outlet (bought the game, of course) and wanted to get an update, they said it'd launch "the coming week" (that was last week). I just followed up since it still hadn't dropped yet, and now they're saying "very soon," so probably have something to look forward to either this week or next week. Yay!

They told me the alpha is going to be a "vertical slice" of the game to demonstrate features and such, and to get feedback.
