We don't have any time for Youtube drama around here generally. It's not constructive, it's generally silly and it has little to do with CDPR goals. Often it violates the Rules of Respect and Friendliness.

Yeah it's literally impossible to get to Velen Level 1. It only takes 1000 XP to get to Level 2. The Beast of White Orchard alone gives out a total of at least 1150 xp (920 on Death March) over the course of the quest, not to mention all the other main quests in White Orchard. But if you add up all the main quests, even on Death March you are well over 1000 xp.

EDIT: Lilac and Gooseberries + Beast of White Orchard + Incident at White Orchard (all of which are mandatory to leave White Orchard) reward a minimum of 1360 xp playing Death March.
