Did anyone play Technobabylon? It's AGS based cyberpunk adventure game which just came out on GOG. If it's any good, I'd probably buy it and run with Linux build of AGS

Anyone else catch the season finale of Game of Thrones?
Pretty much everyone is dead at this point, either killed off in past seasons or this one. Part of me thinks that the series will end with Westeros being a single bloodied guy in a field somewhere, with the white walkers deciding that he's not worth the effort and leaving him alone.

As soon as I read this I half mumbled a sharp "Nope!"... with the double meaning of "No I have no seen it yet, but will", and a "Oh no, I am NOT going to continue reading after that! So don't you try... eyes... to look down and read the next paragraph of text!"... at which point I then started scrolling around on the page, and my eyes moving around your (and Sardukhar's) text as best as it could... almost like the text was the negative side of a magnet, and my eyes being the positive side of magnets... XD
Ah, the books. Game of Thrones: Bloviated Edition would perhaps be a more fitting name for the written series (though I haven't read much of it, to be honest). So many unnecessary characters and subplots. Cutting and combining characters to make for a more focused story is what I like about the show, honestly.
Though I'm grateful for the books leading to a wiki that let me look into the future somewhat. I would have given up at the end of season 2 if I hadn't emotionally prepared myself for the heartrending stabbification that awaited my then-favorite characters. I suppose now that the show has caught up with the books as far as some characters are concerned, you book readers will get a glimpse into the general future that awaits your favorite characters, too.
You can relax your eye sockets. I included no spoilers (unless "people died this season and in every other GoT season" is a spoiler, in which case I have bad news about all those characters you thought were sleeping). Had there been spoilers, I'd have abused the spoiler tag, no doubt nesting several within each other to create a labyrinthine maze full of pony gifs and outright lies.

But how great was it that King Kong killed that white walker using Excalibur? That could have used some clarification in terms of the lore, but the CGI was solid.

I like the characters and subplots - nearly all were interesting and the writing is much, much better. The show has many more WTF moments for me, stuff that makes a lot less sense. Such is TV world, I guess.
