People aren't forced to use Windows ;) All these recent Windows 10 criticisms are like buying fastfood, and complaining that it's not healthy.

Using something else is like going full vegan. You can't use one percent of the stuff you were used to and are constantly locked out of all the fun. :p

I guess :) I mean those are expected consequences, so complaints towards MS are somewhat misdirected.

I don't care too much, anyways, since I'm not really into the kind of AAA console port games that MS is massacring right now.

Quantum Break look thoroughly dull to me. So yeah, no loss.

Mh having played Quantum Break for a bit I can say that some complains are really exaggerated, though it's not an excellent PC port. Graphics surely are dirty when they have no reason to be like that (keeping in mind lights, like... it's ok when time breaks) plus there's some motion blur you can't get rid of when you're moving normally. When you're still the image is clean, but not always, as I said.

Click on the pics to see what I mean.

Ok

Not ok

Apart from this I haven't noticed other issues, the game and the shooting parts flow well, I locked it at 30 fps since the beginning. Settings on high and medium. So I'd definitely say it's not that apocalypse many claim. About cons I can't blame Remedy at all since they can't bring a port out of the blue when MS decided to consider Quantum Break PC version as a last minute decision.

Is this the right thread?

Anyone watch the BAFTA video game awards? Even though I've been incredibly vocal about the issues with the game, it got robbed. Should have won Game of the Year (Fallout won. Really? Even the Bethesda guy was like... err we don't really deserve this), and Doug should have won best performer. The amount of voice work he did on TW3 is almost unprecedented in the industry.

I don't mind other titles winning best story, but TW3 deserved those two.

I really don't care much about awards, since that's not what I evaluate games by, but I guess authors can.

Tbh, I'm surprised Her Story or Rocket League didn't win - they were the most awarded titles of the evening, I think.

Wait, people actually watch award shows?

I don't see the point personally, they're always rigged in some form.

I only watch the BAFTA's, it's not like the US ones. The hosts they get are usually hilarious, last years' was savage and this year was no exception. You should give it a try.

Yeah no, the BAFTAs are actually worth watching. Always trust the Brits to make an entertaining show. Dara O Briain did a great job hosting.

I happened to tune in to the exact moment best game award was given and closed the stream at the same hand movement, lol.

Gosh, any other game in the nominees would've deserved it more, like Rocket League. I'm not up to date with their possible awards, has there been any worth mentioning for Rocket League anyway?

Well, to be fair, they are driving on the opposite side of the road, what did you expect? :p Kidding aside though, it's alright folks. Let some other game win sometimes. TW3 proved itself enough to be unaffected if it did not get an award somewhere. With being the game with the most amount of GOTY awards and all :)

Entertaining, maybe. :) But dear god the games they awarded, it has been some time i saw such a biased jury. And of course they snubbed the Witcher 3 completely *rolleyes* not that CDPR needs recognition from them, they already have more than enough...still.

I mean, the BAFTAs aren't exactly known for how... accurate their awards are. I think Destiny won Best Game last year? Anyway, yeah, I just meant in terms of entertainment - it's probably the best put together gaming awards show there is atm.
