*They. It was made by 8 speedrunners. And it's not one perfect smooth playthrough, but montage of 317 segments. They also were using scripts, bugs and glitches.

Okay, that puts it into perspective, a bit. Doing something like this really in one piece would be inhuman ^^

Yeah, no doubt about that. And headshotting enemies through walls with the Magnum and the like - I can't begin to imagine the countless hours those guys spent on Half Life ;)

they're really stupid to dedicate that amount of time to that. i used to think training your whole life for the olympics was foolish as well, but at least you keep the spoils of your hard work, and have a chance at acclaim. but what's the pay off of doing a script kidding red bull fueled glitching shooting binge video? to impress fellow nerds? hardly worth the effort.

Looks like The World Of Darkness MMO has been cancelled.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-14-ccp-cancels-vampire-mmo-world-of-darkness

I can't say I'm all that surprised, but 56 people have been laid off from the studio. Poor bunch, I hope they all get new jobs soon!

At least now it is official, although there were already zero hope that the game could see a life one day.
Dammit :wallbash:

Been playing a lot of Age of Wonders III. I quite like it. Solid sequel to Age of Wonders II.

Agreed. Nvidia guy was annoying. Roberts and Oculus dude were the most interesting to listen to. I'm impressed with Roberts, he's totally dedicated to PC and it's quite refreshing.

I think Palmer was interesting to watch. Sure he spent a lot of time marketing stuff but for those that didn't know much about it probably was interesting.

Personally I didn't know much about G-Sync and what it does. Didn't care about it...well now I do care about it quite a bit and I likely will jump to grab a G-Sync monitor this year.

Palmer is the Oculus guy he wasn't really doing any sort of marketing. If you mean the Nvidia guy that's Tom Petersen.

I´ve been playing GTA V on my XBox 360 lately. It´s quite fun, as GTAs tend to be, if you like that kind of game of course. What I like about these games is that the cities are really detailed and full of life. It really adds to the immersion.

I´m trying to finish it before Thursday, because I´ll fly to the US and I´ll return two weeks later with a PS4 :))), and the XBox won´t have a place next to my TV anymore, I think...

So who here would recommend buying Age of Wonders 3? I've been hearing a lot of good things about it but I've been wondering if in order to play and understand it, should I play the older one's first? What do you guys think?

Not really necessary. You will some of the context but much is explained to you. Personally I'd just recommend reading this: http://aow2.heavengames.com/gameinfo/story/aow1story.shtml and also http://aow2.heavengames.com/gameinfo/story/index.shtml

Doesn't explain everything and there's no synposis on the wiki.

I just started watching a bit of Blood Bowl, more precisely last year's TGS tournament. What an entertaining game to watch! I didn't really care for Blood Bowl because the little I had heard - football with some skull-bashing (I didn't even know it was turn- and dice-roll-based) - sounded like a trashy game for the lolz and without any depth. Boy, was I wrong!

Anyone here still playing Blood Bowl or has played in the past? I consider getting it, but is multiplayer still active (and welcoming for rookies)? Is the singleplayer part any good? Still worth getting or should I rather wait for BB2 which probably will be released in Fall/Winter?

Also, watching TotalBiscuit vs AngryJoe made really clear what an annoying idiot AJ is, especially in comparison with that classy Cynical Brit. It was super hard to watch - TB on the one hand, talking when he's got something to say, in a good temper, humourous and a good sport and AJ on the other hand loud, ranting, whining and dropping F-bombs and not contributing to the commentary's quality in any way. His one redeeming quality seems to be that he really likes and promotes The Witcher - everything else I've seen so far is just despicable.

Haven't played it in twenty years or so Aaden, but if it's still the same kind of game then i'd say it's like most dice games about mitigating risk, and you can still fail if Nuffle decides that it's not your day. Ogres were a bit OP back in the day, think there was a special player you could hire, Eeza Ugezod (He's a huge sod) that could steamroll anything. I assume it's better balanced now though.
