I've been feeling like I've lost interest in many games lately. So, on a friend's suggestion, I've been trying out some niche indie games. Outer Wilds is really good.

I revisiting some older games, like Left 4 Dead. Recently, there's a game called toxic commando that's very similar to Left 4 Dead. But I feel like I prefer Left 4 Dead because I can customize a lot of mods.

Grim Dawn expansion now has a release date: 23rd of July

Can't wait to jump back into that game for a bajillion hours and making 493.5 new builds thanks to the new class and TONS of new items.

Interesting. I only got into the game a few weeks ago, but I'll keep an eye on this expansion.

Despite the fact only Steam is mentioned, I hope this new expansion will be available on Xbox...

We'll have to see how things go. One of the developers mentioned this when asked:

"We are working through M$'s publishing process to get the DLC out on Xbox as well. No ETA yet and no guarantee it will be out in the EU either.

GOG should be out the same day as Steam."

The rumor on gaming sites today is that Star Wars Zero Company will release at the end of August. Supposedly the big public announcement is tomorrow. I hope that's correct.

I was not expecting a Guild Wars 3 but here we are:

Will be interesting to see how it turns out. I very much enjoyed GW2, though I haven't played it in a while (The whole lack of progression system with new content not increasing levels or adding new equipment eventually made for very stale gameplay where there was simply nothing to aim for. You just logged in to do dailies for the sake of dailies...)

Could be a fun time to go exploring the world again and experiencing a new story (While not FFXIV levels of quality, GW2's personal story was pretty good. Aside from the Trahearne issues)

To the horror of pretty much everybody, Anakin Skywalker will be in it in some way. Since he is responsible for the fall of both the Republic and the Empire, I don't know what that implies for the success of the game.

GW2 was the only MMO I ever enjoyed consistently over time. Never actually got deeply into it, but it I'll watch where 3 goes.

As a huge XCOM fan, I'm looking at this one a little sideways, but I'm interested. I want to see how it does after launch.

Has anyone played Gothic Remake around here?
I've just completed it and I've gotta say it's one of the best RPGs that came out in the recent years, maybe even ever.
It's impressive how it builds on the foundation of the original, while adding a lot of really cool new things and tweaking the weak spots.
What I think is the best part is that on top of modern production values, they've kept this feeling of utter helplessness in the beginning, just like in the original - the Nameless Hero doesn't know anything, can't do anything, doesn't have anything and even the most basic enemies in the beginning are very deadly. It makes the progression from "Running away from a scavenger at the start" to "Fighting - and winning - against eldritch monstrosities in the end" all the more satisfying.
Oh, and they've fixed the magic system.

I started it, but Owlcat released its new DLC for Rogue Trader, so I simply reach the "first" camp. Will return on it right after finishing my new RT run
