LOL oh Lindsay. Narcissism and being broke make for some interesting results. Also, I think the GTAV character was modeled after Kate Upton.

Anyway, I am back to being obsessed with Guild Wars 2 now that Season 2 has gone live. And I'm super bummed because my favourite yearly festival has passed and there is a high chance it may never happen again (it was a travelling Bazaar of airships and S2 starts with some of the ships exploding and crashing :'(). They are doing a mighty fine job with the "living story" though, it's insane how much content they've created only to make it disappear forever after 2-4 weeks.

In other news, Crytek has pissed off it's workforce!

Them not paying their employees might have to do with the shit selling of that game and thinking it will do better if they bring it to current gen. All that wasted money.

Heads up RED, hiring opportunity here. I believe Peter Gelencser was a former Crytek dev, maybe they can snag a few more.

:p

It just goes to show that pretty graphics don't make a game good! It's the gameplay that matters. Crytek have never learned that, so they thought that just because Ryse looked good, they thought that it would sell despite the clearly dull mechanics. Just proves how dumb some console devs are

Those are some serious accusations. I wonder what will happen.

Btw who is Jason?

Do you guys know any mods for other games based on the Witcher's universe? I only know one of Crusader Kings II but that's not really what I'm aiming for.
Total war and Mount Blade have disappointed me so far, I mean way less popular or appropriate universe's have mods but not the Witcher.

I'm not big into mods, but I think there's a decent one for Skyrim, just a Geralt skin. If you like Skyrim.

Quite a few actually, and some of them are pretty well done.

regardless of quality, mods are only beneficial for games that are already good on their own. skyrim is an irredeemably ugly, lazily designed game. all the mods in the world aren't going to get rid of the copy pasted dungeons and environments, the poorly coded landscape procedural effects, pre-2005 level character animations, the total lack of atmosphere and immersion. shader and lighting technology that looks to be no more advanced than mount and blade. and concrete freaking ceilings in a wood cottage.

Except I'd argue that Mount and Blade has far better atmosphere than Skyrim, and it has no story at all, except for what you do in the world. You create your own story.

So, I finally got to start a game of Total War: Rome 2 after having it waiting in my backlog for months. Getting to see how the game is, starting to like it, and then my friends give me Assassin´s Creed IV for PS4 as a birthday present...

What should I do now?? :hmm:

Be warned: AC IV is a damned big time sink if you're a completionist.

Finally getting around to Battleblock theatre(Steam version). If anyone wants to do co-op then give me a shout.

Edit: I just realised I posted here twice. Whoops. Really need to get sleep and stop having dumb moments. -.-

Holy shit, Blackguards can be infuriating. I am playing a level where I have to traverse through narrow passages with lots of destructible obstacles as fast as I can in order to run away from some manner of poison mist, all the while avoiding or killing small hordes of zombies and poisonous spiders. It is HELL!

I've already played several times and everytime I get further ahead, but since there is no mid battle save I have to restart whenever I can't figure out how to deal with the next surprise fast enough or if I let myself get trapped by the creatures.

Fun game overall, but requires a lot of time.

Awesome about Grim Fandango, I think @wichat was expecting this. I tried playing it again using ResidualVM but it is still very buggy.

And awkwardness strikes again. PC and Linux? Good news in any case.
